For more information, please visit us at Motiva.com.\nPosition Location:\nMotiva Refinery; Port Arthur, TX \nResponsibilities:\nAs an Electrical Engineering intern, you’ll help provide technical support and assurance to operating units in the electrical engineering discipline.\nDuties may include:\nProgress and/or complete assigned projects\nParticipate in Management of Change Process\nParticipate in field activities including troubleshooting electrical equipment\nConduct failure analysis and causal investigation of electrical failures or incidents \nDevelop solution options for problem solving\nWork collaboratively with production teams, other discipline support, and organization stakeholders\nExperience and Qualifications:\nRequired Education and Experience:\n3.0 cumulative GPA \nPursuing a B.S in Electrical Engineering \nBasic computer skills, MS Windows, MS office and MS Excel \nBasic computation and technical skills \nTime management skills \nGood communication skills, both written and oral \nCandidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, an alien admitted as permanent resident, refugee, asylee, temporary resident, or an individual who possesses valid work authorization.
