Motiva is wholly owned by Aramco, one of the world’s largest integrated energy and chemicals companies.\nPosition Overview:\nThe Sr. Turnaround Scheduler is responsible for leading the planning, development, and execution of complex turnaround and shutdown schedules to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective project delivery. This role integrates cross-functional inputs, manages critical path activities, and drives schedule performance while maintaining compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Acts as a central coordination point between operations, maintenance, engineering, contractors, and vendors to minimize downtime and optimize resource utilization.\nResponsibilities:\nLead the development and optimization of integrated turnaround schedules, ensuring alignment with scope, resources, and operational constraints.\nCollaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Planning teams to define work scope, sequencing, and execution strategies.\nEstablish and manage critical path activities, identifying risks and implementing mitigation plans to prevent delays.\nMonitor schedule performance using KPIs and progress tracking tools; analyze variances and drive corrective actions.\nCoordinate daily turnaround activities, proactively resolving scheduling conflicts and resource constraints.\nInterface with contractors and vendors to ensure timely mobilization, execution, and demobilization of services.\nSupport cost and resource forecasting by aligning schedules with budget requirements and manpower plans.\nServe as the primary point of contact for turnaround scheduling communications across all stakeholders.\nEnsure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards throughout all phases of the turnaround.\nProvide leadership during execution, including participation in emergency response activities and real-time schedule adjustments.\nExperience and Qualifications:\nRequired Education and Experience:\n10+ years of experience working at a large-scale industrial complex\nHigh school diploma or equivalent education\nKnowledge of maintenance planning, manpower loading, sequencing, resource leveling, scheduling, and target and milestone setting\nKnowledge of maintenance, production, planning, and scheduling processes\nPhysical Requirements:\nPhysical ability to work around and on industrial equipment, including frequent climbing of stairs and ladders\nAbility to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas (respirator, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, heeled boots, and hearing protection)\nWe reserve the right to amend or withdraw Motiva jobs at any time, including prior to the closing date.
