Be part of the journey.\nRole Overview and Responsibilities\nAs our HSE Manager, you'll lead the site's health, safety, and environmental programs, drive compliance and continuous improvement, and partner with leaders across the organization to strengthen a culture of safety. This is an opportunity for an experienced HSE professional who enjoys being visible on the floor, solving problems, and making a meaningful impact on people and operations.\nThe ideal candidate is a hands-on safety professional who can balance regulatory compliance with practical solutions, employee engagement, and continuous improvement.\nLead and continuously improve site health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure a safe, compliant and sustainable workplace.\nEnsure compliance with OSHA, EPA, state and local regulations, and company HSE policies and standards\nProactively identify, assess, and mitigate workplace hazards through regular floor presence, inspections, audits, risk assessments, and employee engagement.\nLead incident and near-miss investigations, identify root causes, and ensure corrective and preventative actions are implemented, tracked, and verified for effectiveness.\nPromote a strong safety culture by encouraging employee participation, hazard reporting, and shared accountability for workplace safety.\nMonitor and analyze HSE performance metrics, identify trends, and develop proactive strategies to reduce risk and improve performance.\nPartner with site leadership and employees to integrate safety into daily operations, decision-making, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nMaintain accurate HSE records, documentation, and regulatory reporting, including OSHA recordkeeping and applicable environmental reporting requirements.\nLead emergency preparedness and environmental compliance activities, including drills and response training.\nEstablish and maintain effective contractor safety practices to ensure compliance with site and ITAR requirements.\nOther duties as assigned. \nQualifications, Skills and Attributes\nBachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Safety Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field; or commensurate experience.\nAt least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, including demonstrated ability for managing site-level safety programs.\nOHST, CSP and/or ASP certifications preferred\nExperience managing HSE programs within a manufacturing, industrial, or distribution environment.\nWorking knowledge of machine guarding, lockout/tagout (LOTO), hazard communications, ergonomics, and industrial safety practices.\nStrong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and other applicable regulations as well as State compliance requirements.\nExperience conducting audits, inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.\nExcellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to influence and engage employees at all levels of the organization.\nMust be eligible to access export-controlled information in accordance with ITAR and EAR requirements.\nThis position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), which means that limitations relating to nationality may apply.\nEmployees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
