Be part of the journey.\nRole Overview and Responsibilities\nAt TT Electronics, Bedlington, we're hiring for a Maintenance Technician - Electrical Bias to contribute towards achieving our goals and objectives by improving the efficiency of production equipment across site. As part of a team of Technicians, you'll engage in Proactive Planned TPM tasks and reactive breakdown solutions.\nKey Responsibilities include:\nPlanned preventative maintenance: Conducting routine inspection, and scheduled calibrations and planned downtime servicing of machinery, plant systems, equipment and tools to prevent breakdowns.\nReactive maintenance: Addressing machine failures to ensure minimal downtime.\nTroubleshooting and repairs: Diagnosing, repairing and maintaining mechanical, electrical/ electronics and pneumatic systems.\nCMM: Work with engineering team to develop calibration, monitoring and maintenance plans including inventory, owning and executing the plan.\nSafety Compliance: Adhering to and advocating safety protocols ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.\nDocumentation: Creating and maintaining accurate logs, maintenance work instructions and troubleshooting guides. Ensure good record keeping of maintenance, repairs, and inventory.\nSupplier management: Supervising and coordinating with outside suppliers and contractors for serving, major repairs and specialised projects. \nQualifications, Skills and Attributes\nSkills, qualifications and behaviours required:\nAn understanding of mechanical engineering electrical/electronic systems and pneumatics as well as knowledge and experience in TPM.\nSkilled in using and maintaining hand power tools and diagnostic measurement equipment.\nThe ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues, making quick decisions and effective repairs.\nThe ability to prioritise urgent repairs while staying on track with routine maintenance schedules. \nClear concise reporting of issues to management and interacting professionally across business functions.\nHNC or equivalent certification in Engineering Maintenance and Reliability.\nMicrosoft office skills.\nThis role involves manual handling as well as working at height and in confined spaces.\nClosing date for application will be 24th September 2026\nPlease be aware that many roles at TT Electronics are subject to both security and export control restrictions which means that limitations relating to nationality may apply.
