All applicants must be U.S persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines U.S. Persons as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., Green Card Holder), Political Asylee, or Refugee.\nIntroduction\nThe Production Technician is responsible for operating production equipment to ensure efficient manufacturing processes. This role involves adhering to safety and quality standards while meeting production targets. The ideal candidate will have technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nOperate and monitor production machinery to ensure proper functioning.\nFollow production schedules and ensure output meets quality standards.\nConduct inspections and quality checks on finished products.\nMaintain a clean and organized work area, following safety and compliance regulations.\nDocument production data, machine performance, and any incidents.\nCollaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.\nUnderstands of the principles of Lean Manufacturing.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQualifications, Skills and Attributes\nCore Requirements\nAbility to operate production equipment.\nEnsure products meet specifications and identifying defects.\nAdherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.\nUnderstanding basic mechanical/electrical systems.\nEnsuring accuracy in production tasks, documentation, and inspections.\nPrioritizing tasks to meet production goals and deadlines.\nWorking effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments.\nConveying technical information and following work instructions accurately.\nAbility to read and understand production drawings and work instructions is required.\nAbility to stand for long periods of time throughout the day.\nLifting amounts up to 50 pounds is required.\nMeets vision requirements specified by quality management system.\nDesireable Skills and Experience\nGED or HIgh School Diploma is preferred but not required.\nPrevious experience in manufacturing, assembly, or technical production role is a plus.\nBasic mechanical or electrical skills.\nAbility to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, or work instructions.\nStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to lift approximately 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.\nWilling to work shifts, including weekends and overtime, as needed.\n This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
