To benefit from the expertise of our colleagues, fantastic learning opportunities, and a collaborative working environment, all of our roles are site based.\nWe continue to invest and improve the site’s facilities, regularly get involved in fundraising for local charities, have an active social club, and enjoy a 4-day working week.\nIn addition to adopting a great working atmosphere, we are also pleased to offer the following benefits:\n195 hours annual leave + Bank Holidays \nPerformance related Incentive Bonus Scheme\nContributory pension scheme\nCompany share-save scheme (eligible after a qualifying period)\nHealth Cash Plan\nFree Onsite Parking\nDiscounted Gym membership\nLife assurance\nFresh fruit and hot drinks\nCycle to work scheme\n4-day working week, Monday to Thursday, 7.15am to 5.30pm\nTT Electronics are committed to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and actively encourage applications from under-represented groups.\nRole Overview and Responsibilities\nTT Electronics, Barnstaple, is currently hiring for a Systems Design Engineer to join the Design Engineering Team, supporting Cradle To Grave Product Design Processes.\nKey Responsibilities Include:\nAnalysis of customer supplied documentation for requirements capture\nProduction of Design Documentation for initial Systems Requirements Reviews including:Design SpecificationSystem architectural diagrams\nSupport of proposals and cost estimates, in collaboration with all appropriate functions within the business.\nGeneration of Bills of Materials within the company ERP.\nProduction of Design Proving and Compliance Documentation including:Factory Acceptance Test DocumentDesign Proving Documentation\nSupport of Environmental and EMC Design Proving and Qualification at Test Houses (may include an element of domestic travel)\nCompilation of final Compliance Matrix and Qualification Test Reports\nQualifications, Skills and Attributes\nWhat We Look For:\nA Bachelors degree in a technical discipline, although an HND (or similar) with equivalent experience may be considered\nDemonstrated experience in system engineering of small to medium sized development projects\nFamiliarisation of core project management administration skills (gantt charts, etc)\nKnowledge of Solidworks 3-D Mechanical Design Tool and ALTIUM PCB Design Tool\nSolid, demonstrable experience in the system engineering management of complex multi-discipline design projects\nPlease be aware that many roles at TT Electronics are subject to both security and export control restrictions which means that limitations relating to nationality may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates must achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS).
