The Olathe-based site has 65 years’ experience in the design and development of unique harsh-environment solutions for mission-critical applications.\nOur dedicated teams are driven by collaboration and innovation to deliver engineering-led products supporting key applications including power conversion, actuation and control systems where our solutions support a broad range of globally recognized major aerospace and defense platforms across air, land and sea.\nRole Overview and Responsibilities\nThis position may require access to information, technology, or materials subject to U.S. export control laws, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Any offer of employment will be contingent upon TT Electronics' review of the candidate's eligibility to access export-controlled information in accordance with applicable law.\nIntroduction\nThe System Integration & Validation Engineer is responsible for integrating, testing, validating, and troubleshooting power electronics and electrical power systems throughout the product development lifecycle. This position works closely with Engineering, Program Management, Manufacturing, and Quality to verify system performance, support qualification testing, resolve technical issues, and ensure products meet customer, regulatory, and military/aerospace requirements.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and execute system integration, verification, validation, and quality test plans for new and existing product.\nPerform functional, electrical, environmental, and EMI/EMC testing in accordance with customer, military, and aerospace standards.\nIntegrate, troubleshoot, and validate complex power electronics and electrical power systems to ensure performance requirements are achieved.\nAnalyze test results, document findings, and provide technical recommendations to support product development and continuous improvement.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues, support design verification, and ensure successful product implementation.\nParticipate in design reviews, customer technical discussions, and root cause investigations to improve product reliability and performance.\nDevelop and maintain laboratory test methods, equipment, and documentation to support engineering and New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.\nMaintain a safe laboratory environment and ensure compliance with company safety policies and application regulations.\nOther duties as required and/or assigned.\n\nQualifications, Skills and Attributes\nCore Requirements\nStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.\nAbility to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nEffective collaboration across cross-functional teams.\nHigh attention to detail and commitment to quality.\nContinuous improvement mindset.\nAbility to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation (ADA).\nDesireable Skills and Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline.\nThree or more years of experience in systems integration, validation, testing, or power electronics.\nExperience testing electrical systems to military and aerospace standards.\nExperience with power electronics, electrical troubleshooting, and laboratory instrumentation.\nAerospace or defense industry experience preferred.\nThis position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
