(Job Plan Attainment) \nSupport the operational line/area with direct hands on manufacturing\nLead the manufacturing team in the achievement of the operational KPIs and budgeted requirements set by the business with demonstrable line/area process adherence & improvements \nSupporting the PM to produce capacity and labour plans that promote a lean flow mentality & focus on labour (Utilization) controls\nEnsure that the manufacturing processes are operated by appropriately trained people in line with the manufacturing work instructions training & supporting accredited skills \nAs part of the operational team participate in the maintenance & Display of operational KPIs & ensure these are always live & up to date\nChampion the continuous improvement with lean activities & principles to gain further success in efficiencies, quality & employee engagement.\nEnsure all company policies and procedures are adhered to by leading by example (role Modelling) managing formally & informally and monitoring teams’ performance & formally at least twice a year by means of the TT Electronics performance system.\nEnsure product quality, shall have the authority to stop production to correct quality problems to protect the business and customer. (COPQ)\nRun interactive quality clinics with the team to find root cause & drive solution orientated improvements.\nInteract with internal customers and key stake holders at all levels as required.\nBe able to cover the PM during absence.\nTravel may be required to support business needs\nYou may be required from time to time to undertake such other duties as the company may reasonably require.\nQualifications, Skills and Attributes\nCore Requirements\nYou will be highly customer focused with excellent technical/Practical knowledge with a keen eye for detail.\nA role model of the TT Way behaviours for the manufacturing team and colleagues. \nDisplay at all times the highest level of professional integrity and honesty.\nAbility to be able to communicate competently and effectively with the team & line management. \nA flexible approach to team working with the ability to both lead and work as part of the wider operational team. \nAble to own & present line KPI’s to demonstrate area control.\nDemonstrates an Inclusive management style to encourage team engagement that is results and solution orientated.\nStructured and systematic approach.\nFlexible and open minded approach with a determination to succeed. \nDesirable Skills and Experience\nExperienced in Aerospace industry or similar industry.\nManufacturing skills, e.g. Soldering, Assembly, Wiring, Winding.\nProven track record in effective operational team management.\nAn understanding of target driven manufacturing\nA clear understanding of how a manufacturing process should be configured to ensure stable and effective outputs.\nDemonstrated ability to implement lean improvements in a structured way to continually improve the manufacturing performance.\nAbility to work effectively within a fast paced and dynamic environment.\nAbility to identify and implement new technologies to add value to the existing processes.\nManage and control costs in line with budgets & quotations.\nComputer literate.\nIOSH managing safely trained.\nLean ethos.\nHR training to understand and be competent in managing disciplinary processes.\nMicrosoft office literate.\nPlease be aware that many roles at TT Electronics are subject to both security and export control restrictions which means that limitations relating to nationality may apply.
