You will review and challenge the SI's testing approach, keep coverage tied to real business risk, and guide the program through SIT, UAT, conversion and deployment readiness. We are hiring six Test Leads for this program.\nResponsibilities\nTest strategy and governance\nLead the CIS testing strategy and execution across System Integration Testing (SIT), regression, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cutover validation and validation after deployment.\nPartner with the SI to review, challenge and align test strategies, plans, schedules, deliverables, dependencies and entry and exit criteria.\nGovern test execution through progress tracking, KPI reporting, risk identification, escalation and readiness assessments.\nMaintain traceability from requirements and designs through test cases, execution results and defects.\nCoverage and integration\nEnsure full coverage of SAP IS-U and the wider CIS ecosystem, including customer accounts, billing, payments, collections, metering, customer service and meter to cash processes.\nCoordinate integration testing with AMI/MDM, payment platforms, contact center, digital channels, reporting, finance, field operations and other connected systems.\nLead the review of test scenarios, cases and scripts to confirm functional, integration, end to end, regression and negative testing coverage.\nData, conversion and billing\nDefine test data needs, including converted, integrated and reference data.\nCoordinate converted data validation, reconciliation testing, mock conversions and conversion readiness sign off.\nLead billing validation and bill comparison activities to support deployment readiness.\nDefects, UAT and go live\nRun the CIS defect management process, from triage and prioritization through retest and closure.\nCoordinate environment readiness, interface connectivity, batch schedules and other testing dependencies.\nPlan and run UAT with business stakeholders and SMEs through to business sign off.\nProvide quality assessments for go or no go decisions, and support Operational Readiness Testing (ORT), cutover rehearsals, go live validation and stabilization.\nRequired qualifications\n10+ years of enterprise application testing experience, including large transformation programs, with at least 5 years in a Test Lead or testing leadership role.\nDirect experience leading testing for a large CIS implementation or transformation at a regulated electric, gas or water utility.\nStrong SAP IS-U experience and a deep understanding of utility meter to cash processes.\nExperience owning test strategy, planning, governance, execution, defect management and reporting.\nExperience working directly with a System Integrator to review and govern testing approaches, deliverables, schedules and quality measures.\nExperience leading SIT, regression, UAT, conversion validation, deployment readiness and production validation.\nExperience with data conversion validation, reconciliation testing and converted data quality assurance.\nStrong understanding of CIS integration testing across AMI/MDM, customer channels, contact center, payments, finance and field operations.\nExperience coordinating business SMEs, technology teams, vendors and implementation partners across multiple workstreams.\nProficiency with Jira, Azure DevOps (ADO) and ADO Test Plans.\nAuthorized to work in the United States.\nPreferred qualifications\nExperience with SAP S/4HANA Utilities and large CIS replacement programs.\nSAP change impact analysis experience, such as Tricentis LiveCompare.\nExperience with AMI/MDM to CIS integrations, bill comparison testing and revenue impact assessment.\nExperience supporting multiple mock conversions, phased deployments and large customer migrations.\nExperience with enterprise test automation, regression strategy and performance testing.\nExperience validating regulatory, billing compliance and customer impacting utility processes.\nFamiliarity with Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery methods.\nCompetencies and skills\nObjective challenge: gives honest, independent testing oversight while keeping the working relationship with the SI collaborative.\nUtility domain fluency: understands how CIS changes affect customers, bills and revenue.\nGovernance discipline: keeps plans, traceability, defects and reporting accurate and current.\nStakeholder leadership: brings business SMEs, technology teams and vendors to clear decisions under tight timelines.\nLocation, travel and start date\nRemote within the United States.
