Mentor less experienced engineering staff. Work closely with customers to fulfill program requirements. Perform complex design activities under minimal supervision. Support design verification efforts. Perform detailed compliance analysis.\nDevelop detailed requirements and design concepts based on customer specifications/input.\nExperience with analog, DC power and/or digital circuit design, layout and test.\nKnowledge of Printed Circuit Board Design and Manufacturing\nSupport New product development, technology demonstrations, and technical proposals.\nLead Technical Desing Reviews and provide technical direction throughout the product lifecycle\nMentor junior engineers, provide technical guidance , and contribute to engineering process improvements.\nUnderstand customer specifications and drawings to assist in proposal and development efforts.\nEstimate timeframe of design efforts.\nWork independently or within a team environment. Ensure that project schedules are met.\nProvide guidance to other members. Lead interns, test engineering, and engineering technicians on specific program tasks including test procedure development, test station development and data reduction software.\nResponsible for product development from design through production release.\nFollow established standard design process.\nUnderstand manufacturing approach and limitations. Perform review before design release. Assess new processes and technologies.\nPrepare presentations for gated internal and customer design reviews. Provide nominal simulation results along with tolerances analysis.\nDesign and evaluate test circuits. Correlate expected performance with test results. Present results in a clear and concise manner.\nProvide training and guidance to engineers, interns, co-ops and technicians. Develop training material.\nHelp in understanding customer requirements and take appropriate action to meet expectations.\nAssess design trade-offs, cost and performance implications, and make appropriate recommendations.\nJob Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nLead the design of new products or improvements upon existing products and provide guidance to others on specific design functions. \nAbility to design experiments, analyze the data and conduct structured problem solving.\nMust possess strong written and verbal communication skills to document technical specifications and furnish design review presentations.\nStrong problem solving abilities and decision-making skills.\nStrong working knowledge of circuit simulation tools.\nStrong interpersonal and leadership skills. Work with other engineering disciplines, including a high level of customer interface.\nStrong time management skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize.\nAbility to act as a technical lead and mentor on military and space projects.\nAbility to write specifications and proposals, and present technical material.\nActively pursues opportunities to expand job-related knowledge.\nSelf-motivated and goal oriented.\nEXPERIENCE/ EDUCATION:\nMinimum 6 year Relevant Experience\n3-5 years of Printed Circuit Board Layout experience\nAltium Designer a plus.\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering\nOTHER:\nMust have a background that would permit the U.S. Department of Defense to issue a Secret clearance when necessary for work on a project that requires such a clearance.\nCompensation and Benefits:\nTTM offers a variety of health and well-being benefit programs.
