This position will primarily use GCA test software and automated test equipment to create and maintain test programs from customer PCB data, CAD files, netlists, schematics, and other manufacturing documentation.\nThe Test Programmer works closely with Engineering, CAM, Production Control, Quality, and Test Technicians to ensure test programs are accurate, reliable, and available when required for production.\nEssential Responsibilities\nDevelop and maintain electrical test programs using GCA software\nCreate test programs from customer-supplied CAD data, netlists, Gerber files, schematics, and other technical documentation.\nReview PCB designs and manufacturing data to identify potential electrical test issues before production.\nGenerate and verify test data, including nets, components, test points, and electrical characteristics.\nSet up and modify test parameters to provide reliable testing while minimizing false failures.\nDebug and troubleshoot test-program problems and determine whether failures are caused by the PCB, test program, fixture, equipment, or other factors.\nPerform program verification and validation before releasing test programs to production.\nMaintain existing test programs when customers make engineering changes or when PCB revisions are released.\nSupport prototype, quick-turn, repeat, and production jobs as required.\nWork with CAM and Engineering personnel to resolve discrepancies between customer data and manufacturing requirements.\nAssist Test Technicians with troubleshooting difficult or unusual test failures.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.\nFollow all company quality, safety, and manufacturing procedures.\nAbility to interpret PCB CAD data, netlists, schematics, and manufacturing documentation.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to identify discrepancies between customer data and manufactured PCB requirements.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrevious experience programming GCA automated test equipment.\nExperience in a PCB fabrication or printed circuit board manufacturing facility.\nKnowledge of PCB CAM systems and manufacturing data.\nExperience troubleshooting fixtures, test equipment, and electrical test failures.\nFamiliarity with IPC standards and PCB manufacturing terminology.\nExperience with automation, scripting, or programming is a plus.\nExperience working with Genesis or other PCB CAM systems is a plus.\nKey Performance Expectations\nThe successful candidate will be expected to:\nRelease accurate test programs on schedule.\nMinimize test-program-related production delays.\nMaintain a high level of program accuracy and test coverage.\nQuickly troubleshoot and resolve test issues.\nSupport production priorities and customer requirements.\nMaintain accurate program and revision documentation.\nIdentify and implement improvements that increase test-programming efficiency.\nWork proactively with other departments to resolve issues before they affect production.\nCompensation and Benefits:\nTTM offers a variety of health and well-being benefit programs.
