TTM stands for time-to-market, representing how TTM's time-critical, one-stop design, engineering and manufacturing services enable customers to reduce the time required to develop new products and bring them to market.\nAdditional information can be found at www.ttm.com\nSummary\nPerforms quality assurance activities concerned with the engineering of products, materials, and processes.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nPerforms detailed contract reviews to determine the quality assurance requirements.\nMay assist Contracts during the RFP phase to review contract quality requirements and make recommendations for acceptance/rejection.\nActs as liaison Team leader between departments and makes independent decisions to insure adherence to quality and reliability procedures. \nSingle point of contact to Program Teams for all Operations Quality Assurance elements.\nPrepares Basis of Estimates to support new and reoccurring programs.\nSupports proposals for new jobs and informs team members of the proposal requirements.\nProvides Program Quality requirements for other members of the work cell.\nWork within a team construct in support of the assigned program. \nDevelops and implements quality procedures.\nDevelops and maintains monthly program status.\nEstablishes and collects data for metrics reporting and analyzes results of activities for potentially adverse trends.\nPrepares status reports for management and presents status to management as required.\nGenerates and tracks responses to internal CARs and supplier CARs.\nMay lead mini Kaizan events aimed at continuous improvement activities.\nPerforms final sell-off and witnesses testing of products to customers and the government.\nAnswers questions relating to standard practices and procedures.\nReviews statements of work for subcontractors.\nPrepares cost estimates for proposals and writes proposal sections and required program plans.\nParticipates in design reviews and formal customer reviews and audits.\nReviews and approve: manufacturing operation sheets, drawings, and test and calibration procedures.\nDevelops inspection instructions and inspection points on manufacturing routers.\nActs as a member of the Engineering Change Board.\nResolves minor issues between quality engineers and production control and assembly personnel.\nWitnesses environmental and operational testing.\nDevelops estimates-to-complete.\nPerforms audits of procedures and special processes.\nMaintains procedures and records of activities performed.\nSupport failure analysis at the process, component, and workmanship level (Defect trend analysis and FMECA efforts).\nFacilitates Root cause Corrective Action (RCCA).\nPerform other duties as needed.\nSkills\nBachelor's degree in engineering (preferably industrial or mechanical engineering) from a four-year college or university\n3-6 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nMust have a background that would permit the U.S. Department of Defense to issue a secret clearance when necessary for work on a project that requires such a clearance.\nKnowledge of PC and their operating systems. (Excel, Power Point, Word)\nKnowledge of Oracle ERP Systems and Agile PLM/PDM is desired.\nAccess to the network drafting records and purchasing system.\nDetailed working knowledge of IPC-610, IPC-620 and J-STD Certifications. Previously certified is desired.\nAbility to use mechanical measurement equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, comparators and scales.\nSound knowledge of AS9100, ISO9001 and AS9102B industry standards.\nSound knowledge of Root Cause Corrective Action methodology including proper use of Root Cause analysis tools such as Whys, Fishbone and Is-Is not.\nCompensation and Benefits:\nTTM offers a variety of health and well-being benefit programs. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances.
