As an individual contributor within our marketing organization, your primary responsibilities will involve crafting visually appealing content and shaping the brand identity that supports our marketing efforts within the Domain Services line of business. This will include creating digital graphics, emails, newsletters, display channel ads, social posts, video content, and promotional materials that resonate with our audience and enhance our brand presence. \n\nThis is a completely remote opportunity within the Greater Toronto Area with the expectation of attending onsite meetings, functions, and/or events upon request.\nThis is a part-time position (20-25 hours/week) for a 6-month contract to start. \nJob Duties\nThe role involves collaborating with marketing team members and peers across the business, including sales, product management, and partners, to deliver quality designs. You will be responsible for the following: \nPartner on the development and ongoing evolution of a comprehensive brand book, documenting visual identity standards and usage guidelines for internal and external use.\nConceptualize, create, and refine marketing campaigns and brand assets, digital and social assets, and more.\nProactively research, test, and leverage emerging AI design tools, identifying opportunities to improve team efficiency and creative output \nDesign requests for proposal (RFPs) to secure new business and presentation decks for business leaders.\nCreate swag and design event collateral (banners, booth kits, conference signage, etc.). \nDevelop video content, including sizzle reels, teaser videos, tutorials, and how-to demos.\nWork closely and collaboratively with product, design, business development, and marketing teams on brand-building and marketing campaigns, ensuring design and business objectives work seamlessly together.\nEffectively rationalize and communicate ideas and designs to key stakeholders and senior business leaders.\nKnowledge of print and digital design standards and specifications.\nManage print files and liaise with external printers and vendors.\nCreate accessible designs that comply with W3C and AODA.\nQualifications Required\n3-5 years of experience as a graphic or visual designer at an advertising agency or in-house design team. \nPossess a certificate, degree, or diploma in graphic design or a related field.\nProvide a portfolio that demonstrates your design skills and conceptual thinking.\nDemonstrated ability leading the creative ideation process, from concept development through to execution.\nExperience contributing to brand development or brand evolution, with a strong understanding of how visual identity systems work across touchpoints.\nDisplay strong aesthetic skills and demonstrate a solid understanding of graphic design's core principles, including typography, layout/composition, grid systems, color, photography, iconography, etc.\nExperience in video creation (simple animation, motion graphics, storyboarding, prototyping, etc.).\nExperience with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, After Effects, and similar tools.\nBe adept at working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.\nThe hourly rate for this position is $40-$42/hour. Range shown in $CAD for Canadian residents. Other countries will differ. Range may vary on a number of factors including, but not limited to: location, experience and qualifications.
