motivated Senior Project Engineer to support utility-scale Solar Photovoltaic (PV) and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects throughout United States.\nResponsible for execution of conformity assessments for the safety, quality and/or performance of products in various categories within larger projects that require a higher seniority level.\nJob Description\nActs as technical expert within the project.\nDefines the testing basis, testing programs and plans.\nAnalyses test data and interprets test results.\nEnsures that test results meet the requirements.\nPrepares test report.\nCommunicates and coordinates with other internal and external labs for testing support if necessary.\nMight support sales in calculating costs and capacities.\nMight supervise project engineers within larger projects.\nMight support in Sales & Marketing activities or in development of new services\nMight attend other external or internal events to provide technical expertise.\nTravel to customer sites as required (frequency will depend on candidate's proximity to client location).\nOther duties as assigned.\nEducation\nBachelors in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering\nWork Experience\nAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Electrical Technology, or related technical field, or equivalent field experience.\n5+ years of experience in Solar PV, BESS, electrical construction, commissioning, inspection, quality control, or O&M.\nDemonstrated and applied knowledge of PV systems, BESS, and electrical equipment.\nThe candidate can work remotely, but will need to travel up to 70-80% of the time.\nAbility to work outdoors under various weather conditions while following all safety requirements.\nExperience with utility-scale Solar PV or BESS projects.\nExperience with EL testing, IV Curve tracing, infrared inspection, or drone inspection.\nOSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.\nNABCEP certification is a plus.\nFamiliarity with NEC, IEC, UL, or NFPA standards.\nExperience with field inspection and testing equipment is strongly preferred.\nAbility to read electrical drawings and technical documentation is an advantage.\nStrong communication and report-writing skills.\nProficient in Microsoft Office.\nValid driver's
