Reporting to the Senior Licensed Aircraft Engineer responsible for your area of work, you'll be at the heart of keeping our aircraft flying safely and efficiently.\nABOUT OUR OFFER\nPersonal benefits: Attractive remuneration, discretionary bonus schemes, generous travel benefits, extensive health & well-being support, and more.\nA career to shape: Access the TUI Learning Hub to level-up and reach your ambitions.\nBroaden your network: We champion intercultural collaboration and provide opportunities to work on global projects and teams.\nCommunity: Get involved with incredible local charity and sustainability initiatives like the TUI Care Foundation.\nABOUT THE JOB\nAs a B1 Licensed Engineer, you will:\nBe part of a team of Engineers and Mechanics working on every area of the aircraft to keep them maintained to a high standard of technical compliance and presentation.\nUnder guidance and support of your Senior Licensed Engineer, complete and certify challenging and various tasks, maintaining our aircraft in accordance with applicable regulations and engineering procedures, in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring the highest standards are maintained.\nCarry out inspections, servicing, component replacement, modifications, and repairs to aircraft systems.\nPerform your role using appropriate tools and equipment, either working independently or as part of a team.\nBe responsible for completing all required maintenance records in a precise manner which includes accurately reporting the time required to accomplish the tasks assigned.\nBe supported to develop your existing skills, knowledge, and experience for the necessary standard of quality within the trade skill set, company approval and the required timescales.\nEngage and actively support, promote, and contribute to continuous improvement ideas.\nHave enthusiasm and perseverance, demonstrating a positive attitude, and the flexibility to change and adapt to situations to meet the company demands.\nWork co-operatively with all team members, contributing constructively and positively to team objectives.\nABOUT YOU\nHold a current EASA/UK B1 licence.\nIdeally hold a minimum of one appropriate fleet type rating (737NG/737MAX/787) but not essential.\nExperience in a base maintenance environment.\nDetail-oriented and well organised.\nHighly motivated and work effectively under pressure and time constraints.\nAbility to multi-task within a team environment.\nDemonstrate excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.\nResponsible and able to follow procedures and technical documentation.\nWillingness to work shifts.\nAbility to obtain/hold required Airport Security pass.\nFrom a workplace to a place to belong.
