These part-time faculty positions are located in the New Orleans Metropolitan area.\nAs a part-time adjunct or clinical nursing faculty member, you will provide didactic or clinical instruction and mentorship to nursing students in hospitals or other settings. You will have a vital role in teaching or facilitating learning experiences that align with the curriculum and support students' development as competent, compassionate, and patient-centered nursing professionals.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSupervise and guide students in didactic or clinical settings, ensuring safe and effective patient care.\nDemonstrate professional conduct and model best practices in nursing care.\nProvide instruction on nursing skills, procedures, and clinical judgment in various healthcare environments.\nAssess student performance, provide constructive feedback, and complete evaluations in accordance with curriculum and standards.\nCollaborate with lead faculty and clinical site staff to ensure a positive learning experience.\nEnsure compliance with national, state, and program policies and procedures, as applicable to the teaching site.\nMaintain accurate records of attendance, student progress, and competency evaluations.\nSchedule and Hours:\nPart-time, flexible schedule based on course requirements or clinical site availability and program needs.\nClinical teaching may include shifts on weekdays, evenings, and/or weekends.\nThree semesters per academic year (Fall, Spring, Summer)\nQualifications\nMaster’s degree in Nursing (preferred) or BSN.\nCurrent, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana.\nMinimum of two years of relevant clinical experience (hospital, clinic, or community health preferred).\nPrevious teaching or precepting experience preferred.\nStrong interpersonal, organizational, and communication
