This position supports Graphic Designers and Production Staff by preparing, producing, finishing, and installing printed materials and custom products. The role requires hands-on operation of wide-format printers, UV flatbed printers, laser engraving equipment, heat press systems, and related finishing tools, as well as the ability to learn and perform basic to advanced troubleshooting of production equipment.\nJob Description\nSafety-Sensitive Position: Yes (as defined under Oklahoma Statute Title 63 § 427.8\nAll candidates conditionally offered transfer, promotion, or initial hiring into a DOT/safety- sensitive position shall submit to testing for drugs and alcohol and test negative before performing any job functions that are safety-sensitive or requires a CDL. External job applicants with a confirmed positive drug or alcohol test result shall be denied employment and shall be required to wait one year before applying for another position within Tulsa County.\nEssential Job Functions\nOperate and support production on large-format printing and fabrication equipment, including 24\" x 36\" UV Flatbed Printer, 54\" HP UV Latex roll-fed printers, Laser engraver (12\" x 24\"), and heat press and related finishing equipment\nProduce a wide range of finished products including banners, posters, wall-mounted graphics, acrylic awards, engraved items, cup ware, signage, and personalized products.\nAssist Graphic Designers by preparing files for output, verifying specifications, materials, sizing, and color expectations prior to production.\nPerform finishing tasks including trimming, mounting, laminating, weeding, pressing, assembling, and packaging of printed materials.\nMount signs, posters, and enlarged graphics to foam board, corrugated plastic, and other substrates.\nAssist with installation of wall graphics, murals, vinyl applications, and signage as required.\nConduct routine maintenance, cleaning, calibration, and material loading of production equipment.\nTroubleshoot printing and equipment issues, escalating complex problems when necessary, and work with supervisors or vendors to resolve technical issues.\nMaintain inventory of inks, substrates, media, and supplies; notify supervisors when replenishment is needed.\nFollow established production workflows, safety procedures, and quality standards.\nWork independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines and production goals.\nMaintain organized production files, job records, and equipment documentation.\nAdditional Job Description\nQualifications Required\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily. Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint are beneficial.\nSupervisory Responsibilities\nThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.\nEducation and/or Experience\nHigh school or GED and two years of experience in large format printing or a related field; or Associate degree (A.A.) in printing technology, graphic communications, manufacturing, industrial technology, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on production experience. Prior experience operating large-format printers, engraving equipment, or similar production machinery is preferred but not required.\nLanguage Skills\nAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance manuals, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and employees of the organization.\nMathematical Skills\nAbility to calculate measurements, proportions, scaling, and material usage. Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry concepts related to production and installation.\nReasoning Ability\nAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
