We promote a healthy work life balance.\nOur Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the lawn care and chemical services branch <$8.5M, ensuring that all services are delivered efficiently, effectively, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. \nEducation: \nHigh school diploma or GED \nA college degree in business, operations management, horticulture, or a related field is preferred. \nExperience: \nMinimum of 5 years of experience in operations, service management, or a related field, preferably in lawn care, landscaping, or chemical services. \nAt least 2 years of supervisory or management experience. \nProven track record in managing operations, optimizing workflows, and improving service delivery. \nObtaining and maintaining applicator license(s) by applicable state(s) is required. \nSkills: \nStrong leadership, team building, and staff development skills. \nExcellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities. \nKnowledge of operational best practices and continuous improvement strategies. \nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, scheduling software, CRM systems, and inventory management tools. \nBasic knowledge of accounting and P&L terms. \nStrong financial acumen, including budget management and cost control. \nKnowledge of safety and compliance regulations in the lawn care and chemical services industry. \nGeneral Responsibilities: \nOversee and coordinate daily field operations, ensuring all services are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. \nLead, manage, and motivate a team of field technicians, supervisors, and support staff to ensure they meet performance and quality goals. \nManage the scheduling of services, ensuring optimal route planning and resource utilization to maximize efficiency and minimize operational costs. \nOversee inventory levels of chemicals, tools, and equipment. \nMonitor service delivery to ensure that customer expectations are met, resolve service issues promptly, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. \nContinuously evaluate and improve operational processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the overall customer experience. \nReport performance results to senior management and implement corrective actions as necessary. \nAssist in the development and management of branch budgets, focusing on cost control and maximizing profitability. \nEnsure that the company adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding pesticide use, chemical application, and worker safety.
