Headquartered in San Francisco, Turing works with frontier AI labs to generate high-quality datasets, reinforcement learning environments, and frontier research benchmarks that improve model capabilities in software engineering, enterprise knowledge work, and advanced STEM reasoning. In software engineering, Turing is the largest and longest-running data provider in the category. Turing also works with Fortune 500 enterprises across financial services, life sciences, healthcare, retail, automotive, and CPG to build and deploy end-to-end agentic AI systems inside mission-critical workflows. By operating on both sides, Turing closes the loop between frontier research and enterprise deployment, turning real-world deployment signals into better data, evaluations, and more capable models. Learn more at www.turing.com. \nWhy Join Enterprise AI?\nTuring's Financial Services team brings enterprise AI into the world's leading banks, asset managers, private equity firms, and insurers. We work with some of the largest investment banks, asset managers, and private equity firms in the world.\nWe built this business from the ground up and compete with the largest consulting firms every day by bringing greater depth in AI.\nAs Vice President, Business Development, BFSI, you will identify, open, and develop new financial services accounts for Turing, turning initial engagements into multi-year AI programs. You will personally lead initial executive conversations, generate opportunities, bring in solutions engineers and AI architects, and own the commercial process through the first SOW and into subsequent engagements.\nThis is an opportunity for an experienced financial services hunter to move from the services era into an AI-native company and build a portfolio of strategic accounts that defines the next decade of their career.\nWhy This Role Matters\nFinancial services firms are moving beyond AI experimentation and looking to deploy AI in regulated environments, on data that remains inside the firm, and across operational workflows that have historically been difficult to automate.\nTuring combines deep relationships with frontier AI labs and enterprise deployment capabilities to help financial services organizations move from experimentation to production.\nOver the next 12 months, you will help grow the financial services business significantly. Turing leads with a platform that remains in place after delivery, creating the foundation for future engagements. New MSAs can close in approximately four months, even in an industry where enterprise agreements often take years.\nAs Vice President, Business Development, BFSI, You Will\nBuild and Own the Target List\nDevelop a focused list of financial services accounts, including mid-size and regional banks, private equity and alternatives managers, asset managers, and insurers. Align the target list with the General Manager, BFSI, within your first 90 days.\nOpen New Logos\nIndependently develop executive relationships at the Managing Director level and above, including within COO, CIO, and head-of-operations offices. Create access to target accounts, generate demand around high-value business problems, and personally lead initial relationship conversations that advance into qualified commercial opportunities.\nOwn the Deal\nQualify opportunities based on sponsor, budget, and intent to reach production. Bring in solutions engineers and AI architects early, direct what they pitch, and scope and price deals that combine platform and services.\nCreate the Path to the Second Project\nRemain accountable beyond the first SOW and establish a clear path to a multi-year AI program. Partner with the engagement lead after the first SOW while maintaining accountability for the second project.\nRun a Disciplined Forecast\nManage a focused pipeline and provide a forecast you can stand behind. Track opportunities from the first relationship conversation through SOW signature and future expansion.\nThe Anti-Sell\nNew-logo focus: This role is focused on opening new financial services accounts. You will not manage existing anchor accounts or own renewals and account management.\nCommercial ownership, not delivery ownership: You will own the sales process and first SOW, but not delivery or engagement P&L.\nPartner-led technical solutioning: You will not own technical solution design. Solutions engineers and AI architects will lead that work.\nHunter mentality: This role is not for someone who relies primarily on renewals, account management, or procurement-led selling. You will be expected to open doors, create demand, and lead the first relationship conversation.\nHigh autonomy: This is a self-directed role requiring the judgment and drive to work independently while remaining accountable to a small leadership team.\nOur Financial Services Business Development Leaders Typically Have\nDeep financial services selling experience: At least 10 years selling technology services, data, or AI solutions into financial services organizations.\nProven new-logo hunter: A demonstrated record of independently developing new financial services accounts, personally originating or driving the initial commercial opportunity, closing the first engagement within the past three years, and expanding the relationship into a larger program. Candidates should be able to articulate their individual contribution to opening the account and winning the business.\nExecutive-level relationships: A network at the Managing Director level and above, including relationships with COO, CIO, and head-of-operations leaders who will take your call.\nFull-cycle enterprise selling: Experience leading enterprise sales from initial relationship development through qualification, solution shaping, pricing, negotiation, and signed SOW.\nConsultative and technical fluency: The ability to lead with the customer's problem, understand AI deployment concepts, and work effectively with solutions engineers and AI architects.\nSelf-directed execution: The drive to work independently, maintain a disciplined forecast, and remain accountable to a small leadership team.\nTop-Tier Candidates Will Have\nExperience co-selling with a hyperscaler or AI lab.\nExperience selling a data or AI platform alongside services.\nRelationships inside alternatives managers, global banks, or insurers.\nExperience based in or willing to relocate to New York.\nWillingness to travel regularly across the Northeast.\nCompensation: $340K - $395K base salary + variable compensation, equity & additional benefits\nValues\nWe are client first: We put our clients at the center of everything we do, because their success is the ultimate measure of our value.\nWe work at Start-Up Speed: We move fast, stay agile and favor action because momentum is the foundation of perfection\nWe are AI forward: We help our clients build the future of Al and implement it in our own roles and workflow to amplify productivity.\nAdvantages of joining Turing\nWork at the frontier of AI, helping the world’s leading AI labs improve their most advanced models by building expert datasets, RL environments, and first-of-a-kind benchmarks.\nContribute to leading-edge AI research and showcase your work at top conferences such as ICLR, ICML, and NeurIPS.\nBring frontier AI innovation to the enterprise, applying lessons learned from leading AI labs to solve real-world business challenges.\nCollaborate with and learn from exceptional colleagues with deep AI experience from Google, Meta, Amazon, and other leading technology companies.\nMove at the pace of AI innovation, with the speed, ownership, and impact of a startup.\nTuring is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
