The ideal candidate has a strong background in web development, relational databases, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. \nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop, test, and deploy high-quality web applications using PHP, SQL and relevant web technologies\nWrite clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices and coding standards\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production and development environments\nIntegrate third-party APIs and services into web applications\nPerform code reviews and provide constructive feedback, mentorship, and support to junior developers\nStay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to improve skills and knowledge continuously\nParticipate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance\nAssist in the development of technical documentation, including user guides and API documentation\nContribute to the improvement of the web development process and practices within the team\nWork efficiently to ensure uptime and optimum user experience\nUnderstanding of common web application security concerns and their mitigation\nAssist in the monitoring and maintenance of Linux servers\nRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience\nMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in PHP development\nProficiency in SQL (MySQL, HANA, and SQL Server) and ability to write and optimize SQL queries\nStrong understanding of version control systems, such as Git\nExperience with web performance optimization\nExperience in Linux system administration\nExperience developing and integrating with RESTful APIs\nDesirable Skills:\nKnowledge of CSS and JavaScript (Bootstrap 5 is a plus)\nKnowledge of web accessibility standards and best practices\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\nAbility to manage time effectively and meet deadlines\nAbility to handle challenging situations professionally\nExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail\nThere at Every Turn: Our BenefitsWe believe in empowering our employees through career growth opportunities, ongoing learning, and a strong culture of support.
