This seat turns the daily dig plan into tons-excavating, loading, hauling, and placing rock so production, cost, and reclamation stay on target. You will be trusted with high-value equipment and the people working around it. Success is a safe shift, reliable cycle times, and material exactly where the plan requires it.\nPerformance Objectives\nRun excavators, loaders, haul trucks, and dozers to meet daily production targets while holding bench, grade, and haul-road standards.\n\nComplete pre-shift inspections and report defects before they become downtime, keeping assigned equipment available for scheduled hours.\n\nLoad and haul within payload and cycle-time limits so stockpiles, dumps, and processing stay fed without bottlenecks.\n\nHold pit traffic rules, spotting protocols, and safe working distances with zero preventable incidents on your shift.\n\nPlace overburden, ore, and aggregate to spec and flag delays immediately so drill, blast, and processing handoffs stay coordinated.\n\nBuild and maintain ramps, roads, and dump areas to supervisor standards, cutting rework and keeping trucks moving.\n\nClose each shift with accurate production, fuel, and delay notes so the next crew starts informed.\n\nEnvironment & Resources\nYou report to the site superintendent or shift supervisor on a contract surface-mining crew, working alongside mine planning, maintenance, and blasting. The fleet includes late-model excavators, rigid and articulated haul trucks, wheel loaders, and dozers, backed by an on-site shop and standard inspection routines. Work follows mine production-often rotating shifts in active pits and quarries, outdoors in all weather.\nEssential Qualifications\nProven seat time on heavy equipment in surface mining, quarry, or heavy civil earthmoving.\n\nCredentials required by the site and jurisdiction for the machines you will operate.\n\nAbility to read mine maps, grade stakes, and daily dig plans and execute them without constant direction.\n\nA consistent safety record and the judgment to stop work when conditions are unsafe.\n\nClear radio communication and reliable shift documentation.\n\nAbility to climb in and out of equipment safely and work full shifts in pit conditions.\n\nRole Selling Points\nOperators help shape how the pit runs, not just follow a load ticket.\n\nFull-cycle surface work: mass excavation, loading, hauling, processing support, and reclamation.\n\nA maintained fleet and shop support so shifts are spent producing, not nursing breakdowns.\n\nA path into lead operator, trainer, or site supervision as projects scale.\n\nWork you can see: safer pits, cleaner benches, and production that holds.\n\nApply\nIf you want your next shift judged by safe tons and clean work, apply now. Bring your seat time-we will match you to the iron and the site where you can do your best work.","description_format":"text","description_chars":2921,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Mining Tech","Industrial Machinery","Mining"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-16T15:48:56Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":86,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.86,"p_room":1,"age_days":0,"expected_fill_days":37,"reasons":["conf:1","win:early","comp:brand"],"computed_at":"2026-10-17T05:46:00Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/turner-mining-group-mining-equipment-operator-2","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/turner-mining-group-mining-equipment-operator-2.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-18T13:19:52Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":19812,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-10-19T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":690250},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=690250"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Fturner-mining-group-mining-equipment-operator-2"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Fturner-mining-group-mining-equipment-operator-2"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Fturner-mining-group-mining-equipment-operator-2"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/turner-mining-group-mining-equipment-operator-2\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Fturner-mining-group-mining-equipment-operator-2"}]}
