Jerritt Canyon is now entering a new phase of\nevaluation and planning, requiring substantial technical support to advance the work necessary\nfor a potential future restart of operations.\nThe Opportunity\nThe Project Controls Manager is responsible for leading and managing all project controls functions for\ncapital, sustaining, and infrastructure projects across the operation. This position provides strategic\nleadership and oversight of project planning, scheduling, cost management, forecasting, reporting, risk\nmanagement, and change control processes to ensure successful project execution and alignment with\nbusiness objectives.\nWorking closely with the Restart Manager, Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Finance, and\nOperations leadership, the Project Controls Manager establishes project controls standards, drives\naccountability across project teams, identifies risks and opportunities, and delivers critical decision-\nsupport information to senior leadership. This role is responsible for developing project controls\ncapabilities, improving project performance, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule,\nand within approved budgets.\nResponsibilities\n Lead and manage all project controls activities across the project portfolio, including planning,\nscheduling, cost control, forecasting, reporting, risk management, and change management.\n Establish and maintain project controls standards, processes, systems, and governance\nframeworks.\n Provide strategic oversight of integrated project schedules, ensuring alignment with project\nobjectives, resource plans, and operational priorities.\n Lead project budgeting, cost forecasting, cash flow planning, and capital expenditure reporting.\n Monitor project performance against approved schedules, budgets, and key performance\nindicators.\n Identify project risks, trends, and performance gaps, and develop mitigation and recovery\nstrategies.\n Lead earned value management, variance analysis, productivity tracking, and project\nperformance reporting.\n Develop and present executive-level project controls reports, dashboards, and\nrecommendations to senior leadership.\n Oversee project change management processes, including evaluation and approval of schedule,\nscope, and cost impacts.\n Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of project controls data, reporting, and\nmanagement systems.\n Partner with Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Operations, and Finance teams to support\nproject execution and decision-making.\n Support contract administration, contractor performance management, and commercial\nevaluations.\n Lead project controls personnel, contractors, and consultants, including coaching, mentoring,\nperformance management, and professional development.\n Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project controls processes, systems, and\nproject delivery performance.\n Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company policies, governance\nrequirements, and regulatory standards.\nThe above responsibilities are representative and may not include all assigned duties.\nEducation and Experience\n Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Mining Engineering, Business\nAdministration, or a related field required.\n 15+ years of progressive experience in project controls, project management, or capital project\nexecution within mining, heavy industrial, or infrastructure environments.\n Demonstrated experience leading project controls functions for large-scale capital projects.\n Strong knowledge of project scheduling, cost control, forecasting, risk management, and change\nmanagement principles.\n Proficiency with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, SAP, and Oracle.\n Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing project stakeholders.\n Experience in mining or other heavy
