Turner & Townsend and CBRE work together to provide clients with the premier programme, project and cost management offering in markets around the world.\nPlease visit our website: www.turnerandtownsend.com\n The Accountant will assist in key finance processes for the Europe Finance team including month end close, production of management accounts, reporting, cashflow, budgeting and forecasting processes.\nThey will be a strong team player with a substantial understanding of accounting principles and processes.\nResponsibilities\nEnsuring all financial transactions are processed accurately, timely and in line with relevant standards.\nReconciliation of all balance sheet accounts monthly for review by the Finance Manager.\nMonth end reporting for assigned company in line with region/group deadlines and assistance with other month and year end reporting.\nPrepare the weekly/monthly cashflow forecast to ensure an accurate representation of future cashflows and balances.\nAssisting with External Audit, VAT/Tax and related returns as required.\nReview of financial performance with suggestions to improve performance of key financial and non-financial metrics.\nSupport supplier payments process.\nSupport the budget and forecast processes end to end for the assigned companies.\nWork across Europe Finance team to support whole team priorities and support Europe deliverables to group as necessary.\nFocus on continuous improvement and identifying opportunities for process efficiencies and simplification.\nSOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable\nWorking on other ad-hoc requests and admin as required.\n Recently Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)\nStrong excel and MS office applications experience.\nConfident individual with good interpersonal skills and ability to work with people at all levels.\nAccuracy and high-level attention to detail\nExperience working in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.\nSubstantial understanding of accounting principles, processes and foreign currency\n Our inspired people share our vision and mission.
