This role will assist with cost planning, budgeting, procurement, change management, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring commercial objectives are achieved while maintaining cost control and transparency.\nThe successful candidate will work closely with project managers, contractors, consultants, and client teams to monitor project costs, analyze financial performance, and support informed decision-making on complex data center developments.\nKey Responsibilities\nActivities may vary according to project requirements.\nSupport the preparation of cost estimates and cost plans throughout design and construction phases.\nAssist in the development, monitoring, and management of project budgets.\nPrepare and analyze change orders, variations, and cost impacts.\nReview contractor applications, valuations, and payment recommendations.\nSupport procurement and tender evaluation processes, including bid analysis and recommendation reports.\nAssist with quantity take-offs, cost benchmarking, and market pricing analysis.\nParticipate in value engineering workshops and cost optimization initiatives.\nTrack project costs, commitments, forecasts, and cash flow throughout project delivery.\nPrepare regular cost reports, financial forecasts, and variance analyses for internal and client reporting.\nSupport risk identification and assessment from a commercial and cost perspective.\nCollaborate with project teams to maintain cost control and budget compliance.\nAttend project meetings and provide cost management updates to stakeholders.\n Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.\n2-5 years of experience in cost management, quantity surveying, or construction cost control.\nExperience supporting commercial activities on construction, infrastructure, industrial, or data center projects.\nStrong understanding of construction costs, estimating principles, and procurement processes.\nAbility to review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contract documentation.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.\nStrong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.\nCommercially aware with strong attention to detail.\nFluent in English and Spanish.\nPreferred\nExperience working on data center, mission-critical, industrial, or large-scale construction projects.\nFamiliarity with cost management software such as CostX, Cubit, CATO, or similar platforms.\nKnowledge of BIM-based quantity take-off tools and digital construction environments.\nWorking knowledge of contracts, change management, and construction procurement.\nProgress toward RICS, CIQS, or other professional quantity surveying/cost management certification.\nSkills & Competencies\nStrong numerical and analytical abilities.\nKnowledge of cost estimating, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.\nExcellent stakeholder management and teamwork skills.\nProactive and solution-oriented mindset.\nStrong reporting and presentation capabilities.\nHigh level of accuracy and attention to detail.\nInterest in developing expertise within the data center and mission-critical construction sector.\n Our inspired people share our vision and mission.
