Turner & Townsend and CBRE work together to provide clients with the premier programme, project and cost management offering in markets around the world.\n Who are you?\nWe are seeking a highly skilled & experienced Manager - Finance & Reporting to join our team in Toronto, Canada office.\nIn this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial guidance to Finance Controller.\nResponsibilities\nLead in overseeing all accounting and financial reporting functions\nPrepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Canadian GAAP and IFRS\nExperience in Revenue recognition and Project Accounting and related compliances\nOversee cash flow management, ensuring optimal utilization of financial resources\nImplement and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard company assets (SOX)\nCollaborating with external vendors around Payroll, Travel and Expenses\nCollaborate with bank around automation of reports\nCollaborate with external auditors and manage the annual audit process\nEnsure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and tax laws\nSupports the Finance controller in driving continuous improvement in financial processes and systems that directly are linked with the financial systems\nSupports the Finance controller in governance, policy implementation and procedures to support the company's growth objectives\n Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or equivalent.\nProficient in speaking English\nMinimum 8+ years of experience in finance and accounting, including experience in a finance manager role (2+ years)\nStrong knowledge of Canadian GAAP (ASPE), US GAAP, IFRS\nStrong knowledge around Canadian tax laws and regulations (including Quebec)\nExpertise in financial accounting, reporting and compliances\nProficiency in financial analysis and modeling\nAdvanced skills in internal controls and risk management (SOX)\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilities\nExceptional attention to detail and organizational skills\nExperience in a private corporation environment preferred\nNice to Have\nPrior Construction, Project & Program management industrial experience\nExperience with Microsoft D365 Accounting Software\nOperational awareness about Power BI, Ms. Copilot and other interactive AI tools.\n The base salary range for this full-time role is $90,000 - $110,000 per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package.
