Our Assistant Project Manager will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to provide project support.\nResponsibilities:\nAssist the Project Manager in ensuring the project is managed to the right quality standards and completed efficiently and on time.\n\nManage individual tasks throughout the construction process including submittal and RFI processes.\n\nAssist with the preparation of proposals for new projects or variations to existing projects.\n\nAssist with establishing effective project governance, processes, and systems to be utilized throughout the project.\n\nEnsure that key information and data are effectively shared and appropriately retained.\n\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with the client and team members.\n\nInterface with multiple stakeholders, including executive management, project team members, consultants and vendors.\n\nAssist with the flow of project information between team members / stakeholders.\n\nAttend relevant meetings, update and maintain current issues/actions logs.\n\nTranscribe meeting minutes and action items and drive each item to closure.\n\nDevelopment of detailed project plans, attendance at status meetings and follow-up with team members on completion status, close-out of open items.\n\nContribute monthly reporting on various aspects of the Client's program.\n\nPreparation of various reports for multiple audiences, including formal project management reports, executive dashboards, and other reporting requirements.\n\nDaily tasks include submittal approval management, RFI processing, change order management, meeting coordination, punch-list management, administration of project observation reports, participation in commissioning, and transition of close-out documentation to operations.\n\nProcurement: Assist with the procurement of suppliers / resources as required.\n\nMonitor and assist the Project Manager with applying performance management techniques.\n\nMonitor and report on project costs/spending, maintain project cost tracking, and EVM systems.\n\nLiaise with the client’s finance team and others to obtain information, review & report finance/cost data.\n\nSOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.\n\n Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or field related to construction.\n\nA minimum of 3 years of applicable experience.\n\nProactive, organized, and thorough with a strong work ethic.\n\nWork as an effective and collaborative team member in delivering the project.\n\nExposure to project management software systems.\n\nStrong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and Google tools.\n\nStrong communication skills.\n\n The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $120,000. This range reflects the company's good faith estimate of the base salary for this position at the time of the posting. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity.
