Turner & Townsend and CBRE work together to provide clients with the premier program, project and cost management offering in markets around the world.\n Role Overview\nTurner & Townsend is seeking a highly motivated Senior Commercial Manager to support commercial management and administration of a major nuclear infrastructure expansion project on behalf of our client. The successful candidate will assist in developing and managing commercial processes, contract administration, change management, cost impacts, and contractor performance throughout the project lifecycle.\nThe role requires an experienced senior commercial manager capable of operating within a complex, multi-contractor environment while protecting the client's commercial interests and supporting effective project delivery. The Senior Commercial Manager will work closely with project controls, procurement, risk management, engineering, and construction teams to ensure sound commercial governance and decision-making.\n**Houston, Texas based and travel to client sites required (frequency to be determined) \nKey Responsibilities\nSupport delivery of commercial management activities across assigned project scopes and contract packages.\nMaintain cost reports, commitment logs, forecasts, change registers, and commercial performance dashboards.\nAssist with development of project budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections, and financial analyses.\nAdminister contract requirements including payment reviews, commercial correspondence, contract compliance, and record management.\nSupport change management processes through evaluation, tracking, documentation, and reporting of commercial impacts.\nAssist with procurement and contracting processes including tender evaluations, commercial assessments, and contract administration activities.\nMonitor project costs, commitments, risks, and opportunities and escalate issues as appropriate.\nSupport implementation of commercial governance processes, templates, and standard operating procedures.\nCoordinate with project controls, procurement, finance, construction, and design teams to ensure alignment of commercial information.\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives supporting development of the integrated commercial function.\nSOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.\nProject/Program specifics:\nSupports a major capital construction project involving building and civil infrastructure delivery.\nOperates within a collaborative project environment utilizing modern commercial and project delivery practices.\nSupports management of multiple contracts and work packages throughout project execution.\nWorks within an evolving commercial organization focused on establishing best-in-class commercial management capabilities.\n Qualifications & Experience\n5-10 years of experience in commercial management, contract administration, cost management, quantity surveying, project controls, procurement, or related disciplines.\nExperience supporting construction, infrastructure, industrial, manufacturing, or other major capital projects.\nUnderstanding of project budgeting, forecasting, cost reporting, and contract administration principles.\nKnowledge of change management processes and commercial controls within project environments.\nFamiliarity with collaborative delivery models, including Progressive Design-Build, is desirable.\nExperience working with construction contracts, consultant agreements, and commercial reporting systems.\nStrong analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.\nProficiency in commercial reporting and project management systems, including cost and forecasting tools.\nProfessional certifications such as CPSM, MCIPS, PMP, CCM, MRICS or equivalent are advantageous.\n*On-site presence and requirements may change depending on our client's needs*\nOur inspired people share our vision and mission.
