Check they are in accordance with the approved Method Statement and Construction Health & Safety (H&S) Plan and requirements.\nProvide direct advice and engagement to the Contractors site supervisors and Safety Officers to address non compliances.\nReview and check the Contractors work is in compliance against H&S documentation; including but not limited to - Method Statement, Risk Assessment, SIPP, Permit to Work, H&S daily briefing etc.\nUndertake regular site walks / site presence to monitor work is being carried out in accordance with project plans, house rules, specifications, quality standards and H&S policies on site.\nRepresent the Client for statutory H&S administration & coordination with Contractor.\nCoordinate with Client PM and EHS team in respect to assisting contractor with building access, preparation of Method Statements, Risk Assessments & Permit to Work applications, seeking approvals and managing communications between the Contractors and the Project Manager.\nReview H&S documentation provided by the Contractors and provide feedback / advice to the H&S Team.\nProduce weekly observation reports, recording near miss observations and incidents in accordance with the Clients Standard, Procedures.\nJoin Weekly H&S meeting, Line walk (with documented record) to identify key H&S risks and Contractor actions.\nProduce a monthly H&S report on contractor performance, identify areas of improvement by analysing the data collected by means of on-site monitoring, etc. and attend monthly Client reporting meeting, together with Client’s H&S team.\nSite coordination between Contractor, Project Manager and Project Stakeholders in respect to assessment of design changes during construction to ensure Client requirements are captured and implemented in a timely fashion, whilst also undertaken in accordance with change control procedures.\nCarrying out surveillance checks on site delivery of contractor supplied materials & equipment including checking of inventory and specifications in accordance with Contract & Specification.\nOn Site Incident Management (if required) - Advise the EHS Team on incident report preparation, cause and mitigation review, including post incident management communications and lessons learned, to Project Manager & Client H&S team\nAs necessary, attend out-of-hours site inspections and meetings; to suit the project programme requirements.\nLead, mentor, and develop the HSSE team to strengthen organizational capability.\n Holder of Certificate or Diploma in construction or EHS engineering. Holder of Certificate in Health & Safety for Supervisors (Construction).\nA minimum of 7 years’ experience of Construction supervision and Health & Safety monitoring in construction & fitting out works, heavy industry or manufacturing facility\nWorking knowledge of International and local health and safety, and environmental regulations is essential.\nDirect experience dealing with regulatory agencies and/or compliance officers is preferred.\nKnowledgeable in ISO 45001, OHSHA standards and HSE management systems\nLeadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.\nProficient in English (written and verbal).\nHigh adaptability and able to work effectively in a matrix structure.\n Our inspired people share our vision and mission.
