The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, have excellent communication skills, be able to take the initiative and drive activities with limited supervision.\n*This role requires on site presence\nResponsibilities:\nInterfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages. \nFinancial management: Ensuring prompt client invoicing and utilizing the financial system to monitor a project’s financial status. \nProject planning, including producing a detailed project plan. \nMonitoring and applying performance management techniques. \nManaging the change control process. \nManaging the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications. \nPreparing formal project budget progress and other reports. \nQuality Control - Ensuring compliance with quality standards. \nWorking to construct proposals for new work or variations for existing projects. \nIdentifying opportunities to improve Project Management procedures, templates and products referring ideas to the appropriate line manager. \nIdentifying and ensuring that the appropriate line manager is aware of quality, safety, health and environment issues. \nEstablishing effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilized throughout project. \nGeneral line management responsibilities (where appropriate) are effectively discharged. \nAbility to advise strategically during the project conception stage, including providing advice on the different approaches that can be adopted to achieve the client’s overall objectives. \nGreat time management skills. Ensure that the project is managed to the right quality standards, completed efficiently and on time. \nAbility to build strong working relationships with clients and cross-functional team members. \nExperienced working as an effective team member within the context of delivering a specific commission. \nBusiness development opportunities with existing and new clients, including cross-selling opportunities, are identified. \nKey information and data are effectively shared and appropriately retained. \n Education / Experience:\n5-10+ years of relevant construction experience.\nOn-site construction experience other than residential.\nIndustrial and federal experience prefferred. \nDemonstrated experience working as a Project Manager within the construction industry on commercial ground up real estate projects. \nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to be highly effective in a client facing role. \nCollege degree in Construction Management or a related field, and PMP certification or equivalent related experience. \nMembership in relevant professional organizations. \nExperienced managing demanding stakeholders and work stream managers. \n *On site requirements might change based on client needs*\nSOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.\nOur inspired people share our vision and mission.
