This individual will be responsible for overseeing the General Contractor’s construction activities, with a strong focus on reporting on schedule status back to the project owner. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise from working in the field, strong leadership, and a background in large-scale data center/mission critical works or electrical contracting environments.\nResponsibilities:\nEffectively manage and collaborate with project stakeholders. \nEffective communication across our internal team to ensure efficiency and a consistent delivery to the client. \nCan analyze, track, and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slip. \nVerify that effective project governance, processes and systems are utilized. \nEnsure application of best practice on all projects. \nProduction of formal project status reports and other reports as required. \nMonitor the progress of multiple construction projects simultaneously to ensure that the approved design standards are being applied correctly. \nManage the interface between all suppliers through monthly trackers and weekly reviews. \nManage the flow of project information between the project team through regular meetings and written communications. \nForecast and update key project milestones. \nManage and monitor local design teams in accordance with commission criteria. \nProvide technical support to owners, architects, general contractors and regional stakeholders. \nRapid response to RFIs from the field. \nProvide expertise for cost control, value engineering, and constructability guidance where required. \nIndependent review of status reports, drawing submittals, timelines and costs from architects, contractors and suppliers. \nClient management - assist in developing excellent working relationships with Clients, with a view towards maximizing new opportunities. \nStrategic Thinking - provides advice to project teams on approaches that can be adopted to successfully achieve both clients’ objectives and business objectives. \nKnowledge management - ensure that key information and learnings generated from each project is captured. \nProcess improvement - Identify ways to improve internal systems and processes \nSOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable. \n Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. \nMinimum 5+ years of electrical project management experience, ideally in data center construction or with an electrical contractor. \nExperience with substation and power distribution systems preferred. \nFamiliarity with MEP design \nStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. \nProficiency in project management tools \nKnowledge of relevant codes, standards, and construction methodologies. \nProficiency in the Data Center Commissioning Process (levels 1 -5 ) \nProficiency managing construction documents including BODs, specifications, contract drawings, C/D/E’s, equipment submittals and RFIs. \nProficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, P6, CxAlloy, and other construction project management tools \n *On-site presence and requirements may change depending on our client's needs.*\nOur inspired people share our vision and mission.
