This role will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of contractual and commercial activities, ensuring that projects are delivered in line with contractual obligations, commercial strategy, and risk management protocols.\nThe successful candidate will play a key role in administering contracts, managing claims and variations, and supporting procurement and delivery teams across high-value CSA and MEP packages.\nKey Responsibilities\nContract Administration & Governance\nManage and administer contracts across the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with agreed terms and conditions\nOversee contract documentation, including subcontracts, amendments, and change orders\nEnsure adherence to contract frameworks (e.g., FIDIC, NEC, or bespoke client contracts)\nProvide guidance to project teams on contractual obligations, rights, and risk exposure\nCommercial & Claims Management\nLead the assessment and management of variations, claims, and disputes, particularly for MEP and specialist packages\nReview contractor submissions including EOT (Extension of Time), cost claims, and change requests\nSupport negotiation and resolution of commercial issues with contractors and vendors\nMaintain detailed records to support commercial positions and dispute avoidance\nProcurement & Package Management\nSupport procurement activities including preparation of tender documentation, contract terms, and bid evaluations\nProvide input on contract strategy for key packages such as:Mechanical systems (HVAC, cooling infrastructure)\nElectrical systems (MV/LV, UPS, generators)\nSpecialist data centre equipment and installations\n\nEnsure contracts are aligned with project delivery strategies and timelines\nRisk & Compliance Management\nIdentify and manage contractual and commercial risks across the project\nEnsure all contractual processes meet internal governance and compliance standards\nSupport risk mitigation strategies through proactive contract management and issue resolution\nStakeholder Management\nAct as a key point of contact for contractual matters between clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams\nWork closely with project managers, cost managers, and engineering teams to ensure alignment\nFacilitate effective communication and escalation of contractual issues when required\n Degree in Law, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field\nTypically 10-15 years of experience in contract management within construction or infrastructure projects\nStrong experience administering contracts for large, complex developments, ideally including data centres or mission-critical facilities\nSolid understanding of:Contract law and administration\nClaims and dispute resolution\nCommercial risk management\n\nExperience working with FIDIC, NEC, or similar contract forms\nStrong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills\n Our inspired people share our vision and mission.
