As part of this growth, we are seeking a Contracts Manager to join our Dublin team. This role offers the opportunity to lead contract management activities across major programmes, working closely with clients, consultants and delivery partners to ensure strong governance, commercial performance and successful project outcomes. Joining a market-leading consultancy, you will play an important role in shaping the contractual and commercial success of projects that are transforming Ireland's infrastructure landscape.\nOverview\nThe Contracts Manager is responsible for providing leadership and oversight of contract management activities across major infrastructure programmes and professional services contracts. The role ensures contractual compliance, effective governance and the successful administration of contractual obligations throughout the contract lifecycle.\nWorking closely with clients, project teams, consultants and delivery partners, the Contracts Manager will establish and maintain effective contract management frameworks, oversee the administration of contract obligations and support the successful delivery of services in accordance with contractual requirements. The role requires strong commercial awareness, stakeholder management capability and expertise in managing complex contractual arrangements, particularly under NEC frameworks.\nThe Contracts Manager will act as a trusted advisor on contractual matters, supporting collaborative client relationships, promoting best practice contract management and driving continuous improvement across contract administration and performance management activities. The role will also provide leadership to contract management teams, ensuring appropriate resourcing, capability and capacity are in place to meet programme and client requirements.\nPrincipal Responsibilities\nLead contract management activities across major infrastructure programmes and professional services contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and governance requirements.\nEstablish and implement contract management frameworks, processes and controls that support effective service delivery and contract administration.\nManage contract performance, obligations registers and reporting requirements, ensuring contractual commitments are achieved and monitored effectively.\nProvide strategic advice and guidance on contractual matters, risk management and commercial issues to clients and project teams.\nLead the management of contractual change, compensation events, task orders, claims and dispute resolution processes.\nSupport and facilitate contractual meetings, including early warning, risk mitigation and governance forums, ensuring actions are effectively managed and closed out.\nDevelop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, consultants and key project stakeholders.\nMonitor contractual KPIs and performance metrics, identifying risks, trends and opportunities for improvement.\nOversee contract administration processes, records management and commercial documentation to ensure compliance, transparency and auditability.\nLead and develop contract management teams, providing mentoring, coaching and technical guidance to support capability growth.\nPlan and allocate contract management resources, ensuring appropriate capability, capacity and deployment of personnel to support programme objectives and client requirements.\nPromote collaboration, continuous improvement and best practice contract management across programmes and commissions.\nExperience Required\nSignificant experience in contract management within major infrastructure, construction or programme environments.\nDemonstrable experience administering and managing complex professional services and delivery contracts.\nStrong working knowledge of NEC contracts, particularly NEC Professional Service Contract (PSC) options and associated contract administration processes.\nProven experience managing contractual risk, change management, claims, disputes and performance management activities.\nExperience establishing contract management frameworks, governance structures and performance reporting processes.\nExperience of leading, developing and allocating resources across contract management or commercial teams.\nDemonstrable experience building and managing relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and senior stakeholders.\nExperience working within consultancy, client-side or contractor organisations desirable.\nSkills & Attributes\nStrong contract management and commercial leadership capability.\nExcellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation and influencing skills.\nStrong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organisational levels.\nStrategic and analytical approach to problem-solving and decision-making.\nStrong understanding of governance, risk management and performance management principles.\nAbility to manage complex contractual matters while maintaining collaborative client relationships.\nStrong commercial awareness and business acumen.\nAbility to lead and coordinate teams and resources across multiple workstreams and priorities.\nAbility to foster collaboration, inclusivity and high-performing teams.\nCommitment to continuous improvement, mentoring and professional development.\n Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Law, Construction Management or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.\nChartered status with a recognised professional body such as RICS, CIArb, ICE or equivalent desirable.\nNEC accreditation or recognised contract management qualification desirable.\nPostgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline desirable.\n Our people share our Purpose and Values.
