As a result, our people get to enjoy working on some of the most exciting projects in the world.\n The Cost and Finance Manager is to be the key interface between PMO Cost and ML Finance to collate the financial data and manage the daily activities of the cost control and cost data collation.\nSet up, implement, and maintain cost control structure and process for completing the financial task and collate and submit data on-time. The successful candidate will provide periodical funding forecasts and monthly updates for projects incorporating progress updates.\nKey Accountabilities:\nContract cost management (informed of all changes and report to the PMO)\nRaise PO Requisitions, after commercial have provided the data and been through the approval process.\nLiaise on payment certificates, inform PMO of pre-payment agreements.\nCommunicate independently with Commercial team to review, audit and validate cashflow each period and cost-to-complete forecasts.\nUse of CEMAR for change data and reporting to the PMO when changes have been approved and baselines are to be updated with cost impacts.\nUse of SAGE to pull actuals each period.\nWork with Finance to prepare annual Financial statements and future commitments.\nSupport Finance with reporting monthly on claimed funding and forecast of spend/commitment.\nSupport Finance with financial statements asset register update\nCompile and analyse data on all factors that influence costs.\nPrepare and provide cost data for the monthly cost reports to control and monitor projects total expenditure and ensure that expenditures are kept within the project budget.\nAttend in-house cost control review meetings with the project controls managers/delivery managers/commercial manager and present/answer questions related to project cost.\nAttend either project progress as well as cost status review meetings with the Client and present/answer question related to project cost or keeps themselves fully informed through the minutes of meeting.\nSupport the validation and consolidate project monthly dashboards and reports, and raise any issues and concerns\nManage cost risk and opportunity assessments, supporting mitigation strategies and contingency planning.\nContribute to benchmarking, lessons learned, and best practice initiatives across the organisation.\nDemonstrates leadership, interface management and core competencies at a managerial level of development and is an exemplary model of living the corporate Values and Code of Ethics\nEnsure risks & opportunities are identified and support the Risk Reviews.\nDemonstrating a clear, systematic approach to solving complex issues and can communicate solutions in an effective, efficient, high-level manner.\n Degree or equivalent with professional work experience in one or more specific disciplines in the Project, Cost or Commercial Management disciplines.\n What we offer you:\nFull time\nCompetitive remuneration and attractive range of benefits\n8% Pension\n23 days Annual leave \nOpportunity to work on impactful and innovative projects\nCareer development opportunities both in Ireland and globally\nOpportunity to work with a diverse group of talented and collaborative colleagues\nOur inspired people share our vision and mission.
