Turner & Townsend and CBRE work together to provide clients with the premier programme, project and cost management offering in markets around the world.\nPlease visit our website: www.turnerandtownsend.com\n Turner & Townsend are engaged to support our clients with many complex projects, responsible for all aspects of cost management and project delivery and we are seeking Quantity Surveyors / Cost Managers to act as the day-to-day interface with our clients driving projects to achieve an excellent outcome.\nWe are looking for Cost Manager /QS with either CSA and/or MEP Cost Management experience, that may have worked on major construction projects or in the Energy sector.\nKey Elements:\nProvide estimate and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost plan.\nAbility to estimate at conceptual, programming and detailed level.\nAssist on feasibility studies and writing procurement reports.\nPerform all aspects of procurement, including managing the pre-qualification stage, produce bid list, bid analysis, produce bid report, and compile contractual documents.\nParticipate effectively with post contract cost variances and the change control processes, where applicable refer major changes to line manager.\nManage cost checks and carry out valuations on larger projects, and ensure timely and accurate cost checking, and valuation process.\nProduce monthly post contract cost reports and present to client.\nProvide input into value engineering; negotiate and approve final accounts.\nMaintain liaison with client and other consultants at all projects stages.\nProvide leadership to cost management team when necessary, ensure the delivery on all of accountabilities.\nIdentify opportunities to develop new business with existing clients and report such opportunities to appropriate line manager, and utilize marketing database.\nIdentify improvements for cost management procedures, templates, and products, and refer ideas to appropriate line manager.\n Minimum of 5 years’ experience preparing cost estimates\nExperience in Energy, Data center, Pharma, Oil and Gas, preferred\nFluent in Spanish and English \nGood technical experience in all cost management areas; pre-contract, post contract and final account\nGood understanding of all mechanical, process, electrical, and plumbing systems, as they relate to construction of projects \nGood understanding of all civils, structural and architectural aspects as they relate to construction of projects\nExperience of leading cost management on medium or large sized construction projects of medium to high complexity\nExperience with advising clients on value management, value engineering, and life cycle costing.\nDemonstrates excellent presentation, verbal, written, and communication skills\nGreat organizational skills; ability to multi-task and be a team player\n Our inspired people share our vision and mission.
