You are expected to ensure that client objectives are met through the delivery of an effective cost management service and foster a collaborative and high-performing project environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nProject support and coordination\nPossesses in-depth knowledge of pre-contract and post-contract cost management services.\nExperienced in estimating, rate analysis, and cost planning, with the ability to develop and present final cost plans to clients.\nEstimating and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost plan.\nTendering and procurement, including managing the pre-qualification stage, producing the tender list, putting the preliminaries together, tender analysis, producing the tender report and compiling the contractual documents.\nDealing effectively with post contract cost variances and support in change control processes, where applicable referring major changes to reporting manager.\nGovernance & Reporting\nProducing monthly post contract cost reports and supporting the presentation to the client.\nProvide inputs to Value Engineering exercises, where applicable.\nInterfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages.\nIdentifying ways in which cost management procedures, templates and products can be improved and referring ideas to the appropriate line manager.\nKnowledge management - Ensuring that key information and learning generated from each commission is input into the Turner & Townsend internal database.\nCollaborate to deliver our best work - Work as an effective member of the cost management team, including where appropriate, taking effective responsibility for Assistant Cost Managers.\n Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Construction, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.\nMinimum 5 years’ experience in cost management or construction projects (e.g. cost manager, construction manager, procurement, project manager, vendor, consultant etc.).\nStrong understanding of quantity surveying, tools, and methodologies.\nNative-level proficiency in English.\nProficiency in Cost-X or equivalent cost estimation software.\nProficient communication and interpersonal skills.\n Join our social media conversations for more information about Turner & Townsend and our exciting future projects:\nTwitter\nInstagram\nLinkedIn\nIt is strictly against Turner & Townsend policy for candidates to pay any fee in relation to our recruitment process.
