The role involves supporting a wide range of project commissions and major programmes and we are seeking individuals with a demonstrable track record of delivery in a consultancy environment.\nThe Opportunity:\nThe responsibilities of the Data Analyst will include, but are not limited to:\nProviding technical expertise and support to non-experts\nDeveloping multi-faceted reports with recommendations to senior management\nDevelopment, analysis and maintenance of corporate datasets\nProvide guidance and advice on data quality issues to a wide variety of data providers\nDevelop / use, the mechanisms employed by clients to recharge manpower against projects\nResponsible for visibility, accuracy and transparency of the project critical path\nPreparing presentation and other materials for client pitches.\nInputting key information into the Turner & Townsend internal database tools.\n Required Skills\nMinimum 2 years’ experience working as a Data Analyst\nStrong analytic and numeracy skills with the ability to understand and present data in different representations\nDemonstrable track record in Data Analysis; identifying requirements and documenting these using the appropriate types of tools and documentation\nKnowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes\nEnd to end experience from project launch to ongoing operation of data, analytics and reporting projects\nAbility to identify and run different business and model scenarios\nStrong communicator, (both written and verbal), to liaise with the client, contractors and designers\nExcellent capability in the use of Excel with ability to write macros to create automated dashboards, graphs and tables\nA-Level equivalent in mathematics and/or computing\nDesirable Skills & Experience\nExperience in an Infrastructure or Defence environment\nPRINCE2 / Agile Certification or experience gained\nDegree educated or equivalent in an analytic subject\nUnderstanding of Business Improvement Techniques\nAbility, or desire to learn, to programme in languages such as VBA and SQL\n Our inspired people share our vision and mission.
