Turner & Townsend and CBRE work together to provide clients with the premier programme, project and cost management offering in markets around the world.\nPlease visit our website: www.turnerandtownsend.com\n Turner & Townsend is looking for an experienced EHS Manager to join our growing Industrial, Science & Technology-Team, working on major Data Center construction projects in Groningen.\nThis is an ideal role for a quality driven professional with excellent communications and client management skills, looking to work on large impactful projects.\nThe ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the EHS field, working on large, complex projects.\nIn this role, you will be responsible for, among other things:\nEnsure awareness among project managers with regard to the subject of Safety. \nThis is a site based project role\nPrepare, implement, and monitor construction the project EHS plan\nLead of safety meetings with Client & Trades\nSupervise client's project EHS oversight resources, including outsource EHS competent persons\nAssessment and approval of contractor safety plans\nReview and comment on High Risk Activities\nChampion safety initiatives and support the Clients safety campaigns\nApply lessons learnt and best practice\nLead of investigations and root cause\nProvide Safety support & guidance \nEnsure the Clients safety requirements and local codes are met\nEnsure synergy with the 'Safety Programme' led by Turner & Townsend.\n Suitable candidates are likely to have +8years’ experience in EHS lead Management positions.\nDemonstrable experience in working on large scale, complex construction projects. Data Center experience is preferred.\nPracticed in project control mechanisms and with technical risk assessments.\nStrong communication skills, as well as the ability to visualize issues and communicate them to others.\nOutstanding organization, coordination, and leadership skills - ability to coordinate and motivate groups of Consultants / Contractors.\nExperienced in developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and comfortable with being client facing.\nAbility to work collaboratively and pro-actively in a team environment.\nStrong ability in Dutch and English speaking and writing.\n Our inspired people share our vision and mission.
