Acting as the client-side EHS representative, you will drive compliance with legal requirements, project standards, and industry best practices while promoting a proactive safety culture and environmental stewardship across the project lifecycle.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide visible on-site EHS leadership and assurance throughout construction activities.\nConduct daily site inspections, audits, and safety walks to identify and mitigate risks.\nReview and challenge Construction EHS Plans, RAMS, Permit-to-Work systems, and high-risk work activities.\nMonitor contractor and subcontractor EHS performance, competency, and compliance.\nSupport incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action management.\nOversee environmental compliance, including waste management, pollution prevention, noise, dust, water, and energy controls.\nTrack EHS performance metrics, identify trends, and report findings to project leadership.\nPromote workforce engagement through toolbox talks, safety campaigns, and lessons learned.\nVerify emergency preparedness arrangements and participate in drills and response planning.\nProvide independent EHS oversight while collaborating closely with project teams and contractors.\n Minimum 10 years' experience in a senior Construction EHS role.\nProven experience on large-scale construction projects, ideally within Data Centre, Mission Critical, Industrial, Energy, or Infrastructure sectors.\nStrong knowledge of construction safety management, contractor assurance, risk assessments, audits, inspections, and incident investigations.\nExperience managing high-risk activities, including lifting operations, work at height, confined spaces, hazardous energy (LOTO), and heavy plant operations.\nFormal Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH Diploma, NVQ Level 6, Degree, or equivalent).\nEnvironmental management knowledge and experience in environmental compliance and monitoring.\nExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and report-writing skills.\nFluent English; additional local language skills are advantageous.\nProficient in Microsoft Office and project management/reporting systems.\nWillingness to work full-time on site for the duration of the construction project.\nPreferred\nData Centre or Mission Critical construction experience.\nISO 45001 and/or ISO 14001 auditing qualifications.\nExperience working within international construction environments and multi-contractor projects.\n Our people share our Purpose and Values.
