Due to the continued success and expansion of our Data Centre business in Italy we are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our Data Centre team in Milan.\nIn this role, you will oversee the pre-construction, construction, commissioning, and close-out phases of a hyperscale data center onsite.\nWith a market leading client base and the opportunity to take the lead on strategic commissions and high-profile projects, this is an exciting time to join the business unit and grow a career with Turner & Townsend.\nResponsibilities:\nCoordinate and support planning of energy isolation activities for construction and commissioning works.\nOversee the identification, isolation, and control of hazardous energy sources.\nOversee electrical system installations, including substation, transformers, switchrooms, MV & LV, life safety and all electrical associated systems.\nVerify contractor compliance with approved LOTO, Permit-to-Work, and electrical safety procedures.\nEnsure program requirements, contract terms and conditions, and applicable regulatory requirements are followed.\nCarry out site audits and inspections to confirm alignment with safety standards and work practices.\nManage and supervise electrical subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers, ensuring that work is completed to specification and safety standards.\nFull-time on-site presence to conduct inspections and supervise construction activities. \nEnsure construction activities are in full compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety protocols.\nSupport planning and execution of high-risk activities involving hazardous energy.\nProvide technical guidance and troubleshooting on electrical system installations, ensuring that all work is completed as per the contract documents and specifications.\nAct as a Subject Matter Expert on energy isolation, providing advice and guidance to site teams and assist with non-standard or incident situations.\nSupport continuous improvement by identifying gaps, risks, and corrective actions.\n University degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent, recognised qualification.\nProven experience delivering large, complex electrical installations and commissioning activities, including MV switching and DC construction and commissioning standards and practices.\nStrong technical expertise in data-center-related electrical systems, including HV/MV/LV distribution, substations, switchgear, control systems, life-safety systems, and energy management systems.\nExperience managing multiple energy sources within data center or mission-critical environments.\nMulti-year experience working as a Authorised Person, responsible for electrical distribution and switching operations.\nDemonstrated ability to lead, coordinate, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, driving continuous improvement.\nStrong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nProven capability to audit onsite practices against written standards as part of an assurance or compliance role.\nExcellent ability to interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and system redundancies, ensuring LOTO system designs are fully effective and compliant with required standards.\nAvailability for on-site work.\n Our inspired people share our vision and mission.
