Due to the continued success and expansion of our Data Centre business, we are currently recruiting for a MEP Project Managerto join our Data Centre team in Norway.\nThis position plans and conducts activities concerned with the quality assurance and quality control of multiple construction contractors, overseeing work put in place to ensure industrial processes, materials and products by performing the following duties.\nWith a market leading client base and the opportunity to take the lead on strategic commissions and high-profile projects, this is an exciting time to join the business unit and grow a career with Turner & Townsend.\nOversee and coordinate MEP design and construction activities for data centre projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and client requirements\nDevelop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to resolve technical issues and optimise MEP system performance\nConduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, quality control, and compliance with safety standards\nAnalyse and mitigate project risks, implementing proactive solutions to potential challenges\nEnsure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards for data centre construction\nOversee the commissioning and testing of MEP systems, guaranteeing optimal performance and energy efficiency\nPrepare and present detailed project reports, including progress updates and financial forecasts, to senior management and stakeholders\nImplement and maintain best practices for sustainable and energy-efficient data centre design and construction\n Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering with several years of experience in MEP project management, gained within a Data Centre or similar technical environment\nExtensive knowledge of MEP systems, data centre infrastructure, energy efficiency strategies, and high-voltage electrical substations\nProficiency in project management software \nStrong understanding of Spanish building codes and regulations related to data centre construction\nExcellent budget management, risk assessment, and problem-solving skills\nStrong leadership and communication skills, with ability to manage diverse teams and stakeholders\nHighly motivated self-starter \nAbility to multi-task and identify priority activities\nPossess the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and identify priority activities\nAvailability for on-site work\n Our people share our Purpose and Values.
