Turner & Townsend and CBRE work together to provide clients with the premier program, project and cost management offering in markets around the world.\n Turner & Townsend Heery are seeking an experienced Owner’s Representative Senior Project Manager to work on public-sector projects (public community facilities, K-12, higher ed, municipal, etc.).\nResponsibilities:\nManages all facets of project management (budget, schedule, procurement, quality & risk) for individual projects including planning, design, construction, occupancy and closeout.\nInterface with the client and other consultants, at all project stages.\nProject planning, including producing the detailed project plan.\nMonitoring and applying performance management techniques.\nManaging the change control process.\nManaging the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications.\nPreparing formal project budget progress and other reports.\nQuality Control - Ensuring compliance with quality standards.\nWorking to construct proposals for new work or variations for existing projects.\nIdentifying opportunities to improve Project Management procedures, templates and products referring ideas to the appropriate line manager.\nIdentifying and ensuring that the appropriate design and construction teams are aware of quality, safety, health and environment issues.\nEstablishing effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilized throughout project.\nEffectively analyzes resources and assigns responsibilities accordingly.\nFinancial management - ensuring prompt client invoicing and utilizing financial system in order to monitor a project’s financial status.\nProvide clear and accurate reporting for client communication and stakeholder engagement.\nLead multiple team members throughout various stages of the project through an experienced understanding of the project life cycle. \n Excellent written and verbal communication skills.\nStrong organizational and analytical skills.\nAbility to advise at a strategic level during the project conception stage, including providing advice on the different approaches that can be adopted in order to successfully achieve the client’s overall objectives.\nGreat time management skills. Ensure that project is managed to the right quality standards, completed efficiently and on time.\nAbility to build strong working relationships with clients and cross-functional team members.\nExperience working as an effective team member within the context of delivering a specific commission.\nProven success as an internal and external project team leader, demonstrating ability to mentor junior staff and appropriately manage the project deliverables.\nAbility to identify business development opportunities with existing and new clients, including cross-selling opportunities.\nAbility to effectively share and appropriately retain key information and data.\nEducation / Experience:\nDemonstrated experience working as a Project Manager within the design and construction industry on public-sector projects, preferably municipal or K-12.Experience as a direct employee of public sector organizations (municipal or K-12) or as a consultant to such is preferred\n\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to be highly effective in a client facing role.\nBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related field.\nCCM certification and/or PMP or PgMP certification preferred.\nMembership in relevant professional organizations.\nDemonstrated experience managing stakeholders and working in a team environment.\nMinimum of 10 years of project management experience required.\n *On site requirements might change based on client needs*\nSOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.\nOur inspired people share our vision and mission.
