We have brought our brightest minds together to respond to our client’s Project and Programme management objectives working on a hyperscale project of £1 billion plus.\nResponsibilities\nAs a Project Director, you will be responsible for:\nLeading and managing large-scale and complex data centre projects in the real estate sector, from feasibility, design, construction and completion\nDeveloping and implementing project strategies, plans and large scale budgets on complex construction projects\nEstablishing and maintaining effective processes and systems to be utilised throughout the project\nMonitoring and reporting on project progress and other performance indicators\nManaging and mitigating risks and issues\nPreparing and delivering written project communication materials\nPreparing and presenting formal project progress and other reports\nManaging and coordinating the client, contractors and designers\nAttending and chairing meetings and drafting minutes, etc\nOther responsibilities, to include:Developing and delivering presentation materials for client pitches, etc\nManaging and updating key information into the Turner & Townsend internal database\nProviding thought leadership and insights on the latest trends and innovations in the Data Centre real estate sector\n\n Minimum 12 years’ experience\nRelevant qualification (project management or construction management)\nMember of a chartered institute e.g., RICS / CIOB although not essential\nGood knowledge of construction industry and Data Centre sector themes\nGood knowledge of project lifecycle and business case approvals process\nTrack record of delivering the construction of hyperscale Data Centre projects from inception to completion\nWhat experience we are looking forExtensive knowledge of and experience in large scale Data Centre projects in the real estate sector\nExperience of master planning/strategic estate development and capital project planning for business case compilation is desirable.\nDemonstrable experience in client-facing roles at all levels\n\n Our inspired people share our vision and mission.
