In this role, you will act as the key, day to day client interface, ensuring that our client objectives are not only met, but exceeded wherever possible and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate high level of quality, sustainability, and safety standards.\nIn this role you will lead a multi-disciplinary team and drive performance through design development, permitting and approvals, procurement and ultimately construction.\nWith a market leading client base and the opportunity to take the lead on strategic commissions and high-profile projects, this is an exciting time to join the business unit and grow a career with Turner & Townsend.\nAs the Project Director you will oversee, manage and lead a team providing the following services:\nOverall Project Management\nProject Controls\nPreconstruction Activities\nEnvironmental, Health & Safety Activities\nConstruction Management\nQuality Management\nCommercial Management\nClaims Management\nProcurement\nProject Execution Support\nProject Close-out. \n University degree in a construction related field\nExtensive experience delivering major projects and/or programmes, at least 5 years experiences in the Data Centre Sector\nExperience to include Project Director, Construction Director within a PMC, EPCM, Construction Management Environment or as a General Contractor\nUnderstanding of project management and project controls methodology \nProactive, meticulous, self-motivated and hands-on team player \nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills essential, ability to communicate well with clients and senior management \nFluent language skills in German and English are required \nWillingness to work on site (min. 3 days a week)\n Our people share our Purpose and Values.
