Due to the continued success and expansion of our Data Centre business in Germany we are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager (m/f/d) to join our Data Centre team in Düsseldorf.\nIn this role, you will oversee the pre-construction, construction, commissioning, and close-out phases of a hyperscale, state of the art data center project for a global technology client.\nWith a market leading client base and the opportunity to take the lead on strategic commissions and high-profile projects, this is an exciting time to join the business unit and grow a career with Turner & Townsend.\nManage overall project cost, schedule and budgets.\nManage substation projects (mid-voltage).\nManage General Contractor and other directly contracted vendors and consultants.\nAnalyse, track and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slip.\nRun and lead client and other required meetings.\nIdentify the factors that influence construction costs and can monitor and report on this data.\nSupport engineering decisions relating to the project cost and budget while design-build changes take place during construction.\nReview requests for payment.\nRecord occurrence that might result in a claim - acting on the client’s behalf.\nManaging the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications.\n A construction related academic qualification /degree (e.g. construction, project management, engineering, surveying or architecture).\nMin. 5 years of working experiences in project management for construction projects; experiences in Data Centre constructions preferred.\nAdvanced skills with spreadsheets, report writing and presentations.\nStrong and professional communication skills, with great organization skills, ability to multi-task.\nMust have a “team attitude”, be self-motivated and be willing to support other groups and projects when required.\nFluent in English, min.
