Acting as the owner’s representative, this role provides technical leadership on mechanical systems, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with operational, reliability, and performance objectives. The position collaborates closely with clients, designers, contractors, and commissioning teams to drive successful project outcomes while managing risk and maintaining the highest standards of quality.\nWhat you'll do\nRepresent the client’s interests throughout all phases of data center development and delivery.\nProvide subject matter expertise for mechanical systems, including HVAC, cooling plants, CRAH/CRAC units, chilled water, and associated infrastructure.\nManage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and stakeholder communications.\nReview mechanical designs, specifications, calculations, and technical submittals for compliance with project requirements.\nCoordinate multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors, and commissioning providers.\nMonitor construction progress, quality, safety, and adherence to project standards.\nLead technical issue resolution and support value engineering initiatives.\nSupport testing, commissioning, startup, and turnover activities to ensure operational readiness.\nIdentify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain delivery objectives.\nProvide regular project reporting and executive-level updates to clients and stakeholders.\n Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.\n8+ years of experience delivering mission-critical, data center, industrial, or large-scale infrastructure projects.\nStrong knowledge of data center mechanical systems, cooling technologies, and redundancy strategies.\nExperience acting as an Owner’s Representative, Project Manager, Design Manager, or Mechanical Engineering lead.\nProven ability to manage cross-functional teams, consultants, and contractors.\nFamiliarity with commissioning, testing, and operational readiness processes.\nStrong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.\nPMP, PE, CxA, or other relevant professional certifications preferred.\nAbility to work in fast-paced environments and support projects across multiple locations.\n *SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.\n*On-site presence and requirements may change depending on our client's needs*\nOur inspired people share our vision and mission.
