Transforming performance for a green, inclusive and productive world.\n We have exciting opportunity for a QRA capable Risk Lead to join our busy and expanding, Derby based Real Estate team, who are undertaking duties on a range of high profile Defence projects across the East Midlands.\nOwing to the complex nature of the works involved, this role will suit Risk Manager from a highly-regulated industry background including defence & nuclear with proven experience and understanding of the processes.\nMAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE:\nImplement or support the implementation of an integrated risk management framework across a major capital programme. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:\nFacilitate identification, assessment and prioritisation of threats, opportunities and issues within the sub-programme. \nMaintain visibility of threat/opportunity trigger points to facilitate risk cost profiling, timely drawdown of risk budget or retirement of threat/opportunity.\nUse risk data to inform investment planning. \n Assist with the identification and recording of appropriate management responses which are measurable and specific, along with assessing the post mitigated positions. \nMonitor overall risk exposure and assess against the remaining Risk budget. \nProactively manage the completion of management responses to help deliver target positions. \nWork with contractors to assess contractor held risks and their views on client held risks that impact upon them. \nProduce risk reports as required, in a timely manner, to support the effective communication of threat & opportunity status. \nConduct quantitative risk assessment (cost and schedule) to inform project contingency levels.\nCandidates will be expected to demonstrate experienced levels of competence with tools such as PRA, @risk, Safran or similar.\nFamiliarity with web-based database tools - ARM, Predict, Tableau \nREQUIREMENTS:\nIn order to be able to carry out the duties of the role as required, candidates will be expected to demonstrate the following capabilities: Qualitative and quantitative assessment of risk, a working understanding of an integrated risk management process (risk, cost and schedule) on a large programme, risk workshop facilitation, threat mitigation and opportunity exploitation, probabilistic modelling (@risk, PRA and P6 proficiency - or equivalent). We are looking for candidates with proven experience in a risk delivery role on major projects/programmes. APM/IRM risk certified candidates preferred.\nFurther, candidates are expected to have excellent communication skills (oral and written) and be genuinely committed to finding new and more effective ways of working.\n Candidates will ideally be degree qualified in a construction related subject.\nWe are looking for candidates with proven experience in a risk delivery role on major infrastructure/construction projects/programmes.
