Turner & Townsend and CBRE work together to provide clients with the premier programme, project and cost management offering in markets around the world.\nReporting to the Procurement Manager, the Senior Consultant, Contracting & Procurement is responsible for managing the contracting and procurement activities required to support industrial turnaround events. This role acts as the key liaison between Turnaround, Maintenance, Engineering, Projects, Finance, Legal, Logistics, Warehouse, and external suppliers to ensure materials and services are delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule.\nKey Responsibilities\nTurnaround Planning & Execution\nDevelop and execute procurement and contracting plans aligned with turnaround schedules and milestones.\nCoordinate sourcing, contract awards, and material delivery activities to support event readiness and execution.\nProvide status reporting, risk identification, and mitigation plans.\nSupport governance reviews, audits, and procurement assurance activities.\nProvide on-site support during turnaround execution to resolve supplier, material, and commercial issues.\nSupport claims management and commercial close-out activities. \nProcurement\nTranslate approved requirements into purchase orders and sourcing plans.\nDevelop sourcing strategies based on risk, value, complexity, criticality, and market conditions.\nTrack long-lead and critical materials to ensure timely delivery.\nNegotiate pricing, commercial terms, and delivery commitments.\nCoordinate with logistics, warehouse, and inspection teams to ensure material availability. \nContract Management\nDevelop and execute contracting strategies for turnaround services and specialized work scopes.\nLead or support supplier prequalification, tendering, commercial evaluations, and negotiations.\nPrepare award recommendations and secure required approvals.\nMaintain contract documentation, amendments, extensions, and change management processes.\nEnsure all contracting activities comply with governance and procurement requirements.\n Qualifications & Experience\n5+ years of experience in contracting, procurement, supply chain, or contract administration within energy, oil & gas, petrochemical, mining, utilities, or other heavy industrial environments.\nExperience supporting shutdowns, outages, turnarounds, or major maintenance events.\nStrong background in procurement, tendering, supplier management, contract administration, and commercial negotiations.\nExperience managing contract values, forecasts, invoices, changes, and commercial risk.\nProficiency with SAP or similar ERP systems.\nStrong organizational, stakeholder management, and communication skills.\nDegree or diploma in Supply Chain, Business, Commerce, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related field is preferred. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package.
