As a result, our people get to enjoy working on some of the most exciting projects in the world.\n We are seeking a motivated and capable Senior Contract Engineer / Contract Administrator with 5-10 years' relevant experience to support the Engineer in the day-to-day administration of contracts under FIDIC, NEC, and other forms of engineering and construction contracts.\nThis role offers the opportunity to work on high-value and technically complex projects involving major infrastructure, process plants, heavy industrial facilities, mining operations, and major equipment installations.\nKey Responsibilities\nAssist the Engineer in the administration of contracts in accordance with FIDIC, NEC, and other applicable contract conditions.\nPrepare, review, and manage contractual correspondence, notices, instructions, determinations, and other formal communications.\nSupport the assessment and administration of variations, compensation events, claims, and contractual entitlements.\nReview and assess Extension of Time (EOT) submissions and provide recommendations to the Engineer.\nAssist in the evaluation of delay events and review supporting programme and project records.\nReview contractors' submissions for contractual and commercial compliance.\nSupport payment certification, valuation of works, and final account settlement.\nMaintain contract registers, records, and project documentation.\nParticipate in technical, commercial, and contractual discussions with project management and engineering teams.\nSupport procurement, tender evaluation, and contract award activities when required.\nPrepare reports, recommendations, and presentations for project management.\nAssist the Engineer in identifying and mitigating contractual and commercial risks.\nUndertake any other duties and assignments necessary to support project delivery and the Engineer's functions.\n Essential\nDegree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.\nMinimum 5-10 years' experience in contract administration, contract management, commercial management, or quantity surveying roles.\nExperience administering FIDIC and/or NEC contracts.\nStrong understanding of:Contract administration\nCommercial and cost management\nBasic quantity measurement and valuation\nClaims and EOT assessment\nContractual correspondence and reporting\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary project team.\nPreferred\nExperience supporting the Engineer under FIDIC contracts.\nKnowledge of project scheduling and delay analysis.\nAbility to review and understand project programmes.\nFamiliarity with Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.\nExperience in major infrastructure, mining, energy, industrial, process plant, or natural resources projects.\nProfessional membership with a recognised engineering, commercial, or quantity surveying institution.\n Our inspired people share our vision and mission.
