Turner & Townsend and CBRE work together to provide clients with the premier programme, project and cost management offering in markets around the world.\n As a Senior Cost Controller, you will be involved with:\nImplement, administer and maintain cost control system and procedures to track project budgets, commitments, expenditures and forecasts for projects of medium complexity and value\nAssist in the preparation and review of cost estimates\nProvide cost information to support decision and alternative selection\nEvaluate and analyze fee proposals / bids and provide recommendation for decision making\nProvide forecasts and cash flow analysis\nMaintain and manage the cost report and provide regular updates on financial position.\nAssist in the development, validation and maintenance of the project schedule.\nAssist in developing reporting tracking tools and generating cost reports on a regular basis, including evaluation of earned value.\nBuild intricate spreadsheets to enable fast and accurate data manipulation of large datasets.\nExtract data from several sources, transforming it to fit operational needs.\nReconcile data to support complete accuracy and create a clean audit trail.\nSOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable\nProject/Program specific responsibilities:\nOperate Project Controls software by developing WBS, uploading financial data from SAP, and updating forecast based on inputs from various project stakeholders; Produce monthly cost report packages for multiple projects\nDevelop/manage effective Work Breakdown Structure that meets each project needs while adhering to client standards.\nReview contractor work progress submissions and invoices to ensure consistency with approved forecasts and budgets\nUse existing Client SAP reports as a tool to gather data for cost reporting (actuals and commitments).\nManage/maintain Project Change Logs and provide reporting\nUpdate the project cash flow in the Client portfolio management system\nReview and participate with the design services team and construction manager, in the development of the cost estimates.\nMarket sector experience: Experience working on large-scale Life Sciences projects or similar preferred but not required.\nProject/program size in dollar value: Ranging from $100k to $50M+\nSoftware specific requirements: Experience of using project controls tools (such as Contruent/Prism or Ecosys) or PMIS highly desirable\nCertification requirements: Relevant industry certification preferred\n Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or field related to construction. \nMinimum 5 years of relevant experience working in a cost management role in the construction industry.\n\nExperience supporting cost management on medium or large sized construction projects.\n\nConstruction consultancy experience is strongly preferred.\n\nGood knowledge of construction industry technical matters, such as different procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.\n\nStrong communication skills.\n\n *On-site presence and requirements may change depending on our client's needs*\nTurner & Townsend is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
