This role will be responsible for preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for complex electrical systems across hyperscale and enterprise data center developments throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.\nThe ideal candidate will bring extensive experience estimating electrical scopes for large commercial, industrial, or mission-critical facilities, with a strong understanding of high-voltage and low-voltage systems, power distribution, substations, emergency power systems, switchgear, UPS infrastructure, grounding, controls, and communications systems. The successful candidate will collaborate with project teams and key stakeholders to provide strategic cost advice, evaluate value engineering opportunities, manage cost risks, and support the successful delivery of highly technical, fast-paced construction programs.\nResponsibilities:\nPrepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for electrical systems in construction projects. \nReview project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and required materials. \nLead the development of comprehensive cost management plans with project teams. \nAnalyze project requirements and provide value engineering options. \nPerform cost risk analysis and provide input into value engineering. \nCommunicate and collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders. \nUtilize industry-specific estimating software and tools to prepare estimates. \nProvide estimating advice, guidance, and analysis to project stakeholders. \nDevelop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry-specific estimating processes and methodologies. \nPrepare formal estimating reports, including quantity, cost, escalation, and other assumptions and clarifications. \nMentor and support junior estimators, fostering their professional development and promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement. \nSOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable. \n Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or field related to construction. \nMinimum 5-7 years of relevant experience \nExperience in a construction cost management role such as Cost Manager, Quantity Surveyor, Estimator, Cost Engineer, Project Engineer, Project Cost Controls etc. \nExperience providing conceptual estimating services and/or pre-construction services at a construction management or related firm. \nExperience supporting large scale construction projects and programs \nGood knowledge of construction industry technical matters, such as value management and value engineering. \nExcellent communication skills. \n *On-site presence and requirements may change depending on our client's needs.\nOur inspired people share our vision and mission.
